Fiddlers Ferry Power Station, Warrington, Cheshire
Fiddlers Ferry Power Station is a decommissioned coal fired power station located in Warrington, Cheshire, North-West England. Opened in 1971,the station had a generating capacity of 1,989 megawatts and took water from the River Mersey. The power station closed on 31 March 2020.
With its eight 114-metre (374 ft) high cooling towers and 200-metre (660 ft) high chimney the station is a prominent local landmark and can be seen from as far away as the Peak District and the Pennines.
When it was built, the station mainly burned coal mined in the South Yorkshire Coalfield and transported across the Pennines on the Manchester-Sheffield-Wath electric railway.Later the coal was imported. At full capacity, 16,000 tonnes of coal were burned each day.
On 18 November 2015 Amber Rudd the Minister in charge of the Department of Energy & Climate Change proposed that the UK's remaining coal-fired power stations will be shut by 2025 with their use restricted by 2023.
On 31 March 2020, the plant was desynchronized from the National Grid, ending nearly 50 years of electricity generation.Demolition of the station was due to begin in 2020 and will take up to seven years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, work on the site did not go ahead in 2020.As of May 2022, no date has been set for demolition work to start.

According to the heavens-above and the Stellarium site, the ISS ( International Space Station) will be visible in our area, and also will cross the Milky Way around 5:15Am. Here is what I got, Milky way, ISS, and Jupiter.
And you can see the light pollution too, if I need to avoid it, I have to drive 3 hrs to the no light pollution locations, such as Cherry Springs State Park.

An image of the light pollution over Chesterfield. It was dark when I took this and all the light in the sky is reflected from the town below.
I have saturated the image to bring out the light pollution.
Air pollution is contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any chemical, physical or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere.
Household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities and forest fires are common sources of air pollution. Pollutants of major public health concern include particulate matter, carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide. Outdoor and indoor air pollution cause respiratory and other diseases and are important sources of morbidity and mortality.
Air quality is closely linked to the earth’s climate and ecosystems globally. Policies to reduce air pollution, therefore, offer a win-win strategy for both climate and health, lowering the burden of disease attributable to air pollution, as well as contributing to the near- and long-term mitigation of climate change.
World Trade Center - As is the case in the City, the sky was magnificently polluted with light. I had to time this just right to freeze the NYC bus sign and the light trail. This added some motion while naming the city at once.
This is what Beijing looks like when the pollution index is at 220, which the Chinese Government calls "Moderately Polluted."
