Here is my Lego Compilation #1 of minifig-sized Pokemon. Hopefully I'll make some more.

Featuring Marowak, Cubone, Scyther, Magmar, Latios, and Gallade.

I'm not quite into the whole franchise, but micro monsters are certainly the best!

She is the grass type Eevee evolution, Leafeon, from Pokemon. Her name is Laeffy.

I tried to make this purely out of non-special System parts and using legitimate connections. There is a small technic skeleton holding the tail and head up and a few non-legal connections. I was fairly successful. Only the head and ears move, other than that it's a statue.

Ready to play Pokemon go find me??

Red from Pokémon Generation 1, Red and Blue. This mini-figure version of Red is based on various fan art images of him (DeviantArt), feel free to Google these if you wish.

With his hat turned sideways, Red is prepared for battle. Go Scyther!

Gotta catch ‘em all!

The Dark-red Custom Sport Jacket is from Cape Madness (Bricklink).

Also included is a Tomy Auldey Pokémon Figure, #34 – Scyther (1998).

This is just a quick throwaway project I built gradually over a few days or so. I plan on releasing a stop-motion Pokémon parody in the coming months, and this particular Hypno will make a brief appearance.

Some of the challenges of this model included keeping the body balanced, making the neck beard thing work, securing the head into the place, and creating the ears. In fact, I probably spent the most time working on those ears.

I've been having a bit of a Pokémon obsession lately, with Pokémon Go first and now Pokémon Sun/Moon. And yes, I'm one of the crazy people still playing Pokemon Go...

But this Snorlax was built as a christmas present for someone who has become a very dear friend of mine. I built it back in December, but shipping took a while, so I'm only posting it now.

Building this Snorlax was harder than I thought it would be. Especially the feet of all things gave me quite some trouble, and the top of the head... I had the illusion that this was a fairly solid build (compared to my usual flimsy standard :P ), well, except for the feet attachment, arm attachment, head attachment... and forehead... ok, so not then. And apparently it didn't arrive in one piece either. But luckily it was going to someone who knows how to fix a broken MOC :D

Wishing you and Snorlax a great 2017 Mel :)

Our heroes have traveled south to Obsidian City where some much needed rest and relaxation is in store for this group’s Pokemon.

Stopping at the local Pokemon Center the team sees the cordial Professor Aspen. She reminds the friends to always be kind to their Pokemon if they hope to see them evolve someday. After stocking up on essential potions, pokeballs and tasty berries, this band of adventurers are off once again in the pursuit of more gym badges!

A complete remake of my previous figure, based on his artwork from Pokemon Red/Blue.

Slightly inspired by Joris Blok. Pokemon was my favorite tv show when I was a kid. I finally found my min pokemon figures. These mini figures are mainly purist. I used ms paint to make some small changes to the torso's. Hope you like em.

This Pokémon was definitely a challenge due to a lack of variety of purple Lego pieces, but I quite like the outcome. I also have the parts to mega evolve this Pokémon if anyone wants to see that.

More Lego Pokémon are in the works, so comment if you have an idea for one. Also, the contest deadline is approaching ( June 1 ) so be sure to enter soon!

These ladies are definitely Gijinka (Japanese term for humanizing a non-human character) Pokemon. Based on how their costumes look, I'm willing to bet that their motif was Valkyrie from Norse mythology.

Caveat: this photo was taken from at least 30-feet (10 meters) away... from the back of a crowd... fire alarms going off... with the camera held very high over my head... and I still got an amazing shot. I. Rule!

I'm still not sure how I feel about appropriating another culture's mythology for a cosplay theme but they were all quite stunning looking.

The blonde in the back with the yellow, lightning bolt motif staff (Pikachu, I presume) is a very well-known cosplayer named Jessica Nigiri. One of my (many) goals as a cosplay photographer is to take at least one photo of cosplayers/models who's work I really admire (e.g., Riddle, Yaya, Belle, et al.). Jessica is one of those cosplayers. I'd love the opportunity to take more photos of her in the future but for now, I'm good with this as she's one more name that I never thought I would scratch off of my list. :-D

UPDATE: The Valkyrie Pokemon were featured in Uproxx's on-line article A Natasha Lyonne Lookalike Headlines The Awesome Cosplay Of The Week (07.15.16). Wow!!

UPDATE 2: Never realized it but this image was the lead-in photo for the Katsucon 2016 - Geeks Are Sexy Picture gallery. This is honestly a surprise for me. Two of my photos were featured in this article alongside a cosplayer photographer whom I admire, Anna Fischer.

Built for OrangeTeamLug's Pokemon Contest

A wild Tyranitar appeared!

I wanna be the very best

Like noone ever was

To catch them is my real test

To train them is my cause

I will travel across the land

Searching far and wide

Each Pokemon to understand

The power that's inside

Pokemon!

It's you and me

I know it's my destiny

Pokemon!

Ooh, you're my best friend

In a world we must defend

Pokemon!

Our hearts so true

Our courage will pull us through

You teach me and I'll teach you

Pokemon

Gotta catch 'em all!

A Gijinka (humanized) version of the Pokemon, Glaceon . IMHO, I think she looked quite stylish and picturesque. Can anyone identify her?

Cosplayer identified! She's Jaycee Cosplay.

UPDATE: Jaycee's Glaceon was featured in... I can't believe they titled this article in this manner... 25 More Sexy Pokemon Cosplayers To Confound Your Genitals. It's a fun photo article... with a very tacky/crass title. *facepalm*

Hi people, alright? Ok, this time you may be thinking, "why have you put a Pokemon picture in your photostream, Becky?" The answer to that is very simple, even though most of the time, I put pictures of Sonic the Hedgehog in my photostream. I have decided for once to put a Pokemon one in as it is one of my part-time hobbies. Especially as it's a wallpaper so enjoy and please put a comment on here if you can to just tell me on what you think of it, thanks.

:)

Pokemon gotta catch 'em-all! camera for 35mm film Nintendo Creatures, Trademarks of Nintendo Tiger Electronics Ltd, Made in China, c1999

Beautiful evening here in Portsmouth (30deg+!) so we went out for a walk, with a ball, round Milton Park. Everyone & I mean everyone was doing Pokemon, alone, together, in a line - we played catch . . .

With this picture you won't spend your own sweet time finding every single pokemon one by one!!! Here you get them all in just one picture. And a very nice background!!!

Me preforming at the Pokémon Theatre!! Although the show wasn't a sell out, the fans were great & loved it!

This theatre was so amazing & hidden secret for years. The origins date back to the late 1800's with the newer & current theatre opening in 1924. I was very lucky to have explored it three times over the last week. Stay tuned because there is so much awesome & hilarity coming from this one! With Freaktography & Carlo Paolozza

Exploring is the mission, not a competition!
