Hey remember I do Pokémon too?
I thought Marowak's alolan design was cool as hell and 100x better than normal Marowak. He's also very useful in game so I decided hey why not maka custom o that.
Another collab Pokémon figure but this one was with Jackson (Wavy_Films). Last time we did a trade I asked him to sculpt me this head and so he did, I touched up some parts and painted the whole thing, so credit for the head goes to him.
The legs are cut short and were necessary to be posed if I wanted him to do his bending down post like he does in game.
Want to give credit to Daulton (Comic_customs) who did this articulated arm design before me, I know others like Mclovin1309 did it first but Daulton did it where the ball joint goes into the torso and allows for the arms to go back more.
Now for my favorite part of this fig (And his design in general) is his bone with the green fire. I took a normal long bone piece, conveniently Jackson also gave me this, and I put hot glue onto the ends and melted the shapes to look like fire similarly to how Jaymes did for his Ghost Rider. I then applied green transparent paint that Shane recommended me and dry brushed other shades of green and white to it.
In terms of other Sun and Moon customs I got Lycanroc (midnight form), Incineroar, and the starters in the works but not sure when i'll post them.
What do you think!?
I made this while waiting for the pieces to ship for the Eva. I don't like it much, but it was fun while it lasted. Now I don't have to think about making this anymore. I almost feel bad posting something of this quality after my Eva.
This was my first Pokemon ever. He defeated everyone in Red version... everyone.
Series One - Kanto.
My three month-long (say what?) Lego project is finally completed.
Introducing the three starters: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise, in mecha form.
These giant mechs (which has Pokemon trainers or pilots controling them) engage in large-scale Pokemon battles known as Poke-mecha.
Building three large-scale Pokemon at once is a massive undertaking (which explains why I haven't posted anything in a while), especially if I'm inexperienced in building mecha (although I think I did a good job on my first try :D )
I'm thinking of making more of the Kanto series before moving on to the recent Pokemon (like a Metagross, maybe?)
Joined the Friday night Pokémon madness at Dyke Road last night. Crazy amount of cars and people all chasing Pokémon of all sorts. As you can see on my phone, all the Pokémon I encounter have small CPs...sigh!
Hooray for 20 years of Pokemon!!

Before anyone says it: I know Mew is pink. I don't have pink.
This was a lot harder to build then expected, especially the head. Turns out, there are about 20 or so pieces here that are not connected to the body by any legitimate connection (only by entrapment or friction). And I made some proportioning compromises for aesthetic reasons.
Hope you like.
Gotta catch them all!
At BFVA this year, GamerLUG introduced a fun little game.
Pokémon LE-GO
Each day we would hide 19 Pokémon's around the convention, each sitting on a distinct and unique base.
If you could catch them (by taking photos), you won a poly bag.
Find more, your choice of poly bag. Find them ALL and you get the super awesome polybag.
Special thanks to Kevin, Matt, Nick, and Absent Nick, for helping build out Pokémon's for this. And Victor for the awesome prints.
Fun fact, while there were only 19 Pokemon's out, there was actually 20 of the numbered tiles out on display. The irony of course, to claim your prize you had to catch me.... which I had the last tile on my name badge. Sadly no one was smart enough to use the wild card :D
Thanks for everyone that played!
And BFVA for supplying a massive amount of prizes!

Beautiful evening here in Portsmouth (30deg+!) so we went out for a walk, with a ball, round Milton Park. Everyone & I mean everyone was doing Pokemon, alone, together, in a line - we played catch . . .
Find out where to get this cute Pokemon outfit from Sugar & Spice {S&S}, FREE POKEMON BELT, and what pokemon I caught in my new blog post: delisadventures.wordpress.com/2016/07/13/pokemon-on-buddh...
It's such a craze that you see them no matter where you go. Yesterday at the beach they popped up all over. Evidently Pokemons love Laguna Beach as much as the rest of us.
The two women in the middle photo actually ran screaming off the boardwalk onto the beach to catch whatever they caught!
*Just read in the Sunday news that Pokemon Go "became the biggest mobile game in history, with 25 million daily active users in the U.S. alone. There are 151 Pokemon, including the ultra-rare dragon Charizard.."
Was out today with my Canon EOS 6D for the first time, and I was trying to find out if there was any difference between the EF 24-105mm f/4L lens that I just got and the trusty EF 50mm f/1.4 lens.
Turns out that for me, the good old 50mm lens wins out easily in terms of sharpness and quality. Of course, the one thing I noticed immediately was the much better image quality and much less noise from the 6D, compared to the 600D.
The 6D has been very impressive for me so far, although some buttons need getting used to due to the different button layout as compared to the 600D. This photo was taken with very few post adjustments needed at all due to the excellent image quality in the first place, and I also wanted to show how much of an improvement the 6D was over the 600D.
In other news, Pokémon Go fever has hit Singapore, and man, it is crazy and wild over here! All over wherever I went during my street walk, were groups of people glued to the same Pokémon Go screen trying to catch that Pokémon near a Pokéspot.
I have to say, I have never seen such a crazy number of people coming out into the streets like this for a very long time already. Just how long can this mania last? (Shameless to say, I have to admit ironically that I am one of those Pokémon Go trainers as well...)
For those who have
or are children,
born in the
Pokemon era.
This wonderful catch
has leapt from the
grass to fight.
I laughed so hard
when I saw it,
the gushing tears
ruined my mascara.
Ringing my son
on the phone,
about the Pokemon
I caught without a fight.
Guess that makes me
the greatest Pokemon
trainer ever for
catching a real one.
Everyone can raise
the white bandera.
I Win!
Ok, so, kinda crappy poem but had to. :)
Photograph taken of the leaves of a peace Lily and mirrored.
As soon as I seen it, I couldn't bring myself to change it further. Hope you all enjoy it. My son and I did.
Para ver en grande pulsar la L.
Algunas veces encuentras nubes con formas curiosas, desde luego a mi esta me pareció una de ellas...tal vez un pokemón...un gorila?? Lo más raro son los brazos que le salen.

I've updated the arms, so they look more smooth and natural. Apologies if you didn't want to see it again. Just putting these up because I'm putting them on my mocpages tomorrow.

This is my version of the Pokemon, Arcanine. It was made for Brickfair Virginia this past weekend. It took a full month of nonstop building to finish and has been in design since last December. This is my first real statue, in that it is entirely designed for this pose and cannot move.
This is entirely supported on its one front paw. There's no trick photography hiding the support structure. I'll post other angles tomorrow.

I love how this model came out. I thought medium lavender would be hard to work with but I was able to manage it quite effectively.
My Pokemon team number 2, made up of evolved powerful monsters.
Featuring Magmortar, Empoleon, Gardevoir, Feraligatr, Samurott, Infernape, Rhydon, and a failed Electabuzz (or my Electabust).
Hey all, haven't posted in a while. Here's Squirtle I made for a friend of mine. Spent the past few months learning how to work all the colors into a consistent style. Did that by building ALL the eeveelutions! Get ready to be bombarded with Lego pokemon!
Red from Pokémon Generation 1, Red and Blue. This mini-figure version of Red is based on various fan art images of him (DeviantArt), feel free to Google these if you wish.
With his hat turned sideways, Red is prepared for battle. Go Scyther!
Gotta catch ‘em all!
The Dark-red Custom Sport Jacket is from Cape Madness (Bricklink).
Also included is a Tomy Auldey Pokémon Figure, #34 – Scyther (1998).

Black/White is awesome. I just had to make pokemon from them. This was surprisingly hard to make. I had so much trouble everywhere on this.
I drunkenly decided to try to make this last night on a whim and was nearly finished. Then I saw it this morning and was appalled by the sheer hideousness. I remade nearly 80% after and it didn't turn out too bad. I wish I had better pieces to make him but I worked with what I had.
Time: 9 hours (4.5 while inebriated)
Edit: I didn't like my original image so I re-uploaded a better version
