This carving is over the doorway of a building, and gives the building its name "Pod Wiewiórką", literally "Under the Squirrel". In Poland, older buildings in towns often get their name from what's carved over the doorway, in much the same way that an old pub or inn in England might be called "At the Sign of the Squirrel", for instance.

I have had the honor of knowing Richard (aka "Tricky") for the past 2 years. It takes a unique combination of personal characteristics to teach individuals in an environment as intimidating as an aquatic one. Let's be honest...humans were just not designed to exist underwater. Just look at how we get all wrinkly after just a few minutes in a tub!
Exploring this environment requires the right technology. But, the best equipment is useless without the proper training, both mental and physical. The parents of the participants of the Stay-Focused adaptive SCUBA diving program entrust Richard and the other carefully selected instructors with their children. And, I don't think these parents could have made a better choice.

BEST PIEROGI EVER!
Without doubt one of the top restaurants in Cracow, and with a whole raft of awards to prove it, Pod Aniolami (Under the Angels) is famous for its marinated meats, cooked on an elm wood-fired grill, as well as other traditional specialities. The restaurant can be found along the "Royal Way" leading from Wawel Castle to the Rynek (Market Square), in a splendid 13th Century building. It's genuine Old Cracow, with its own medieval courtyard with a mosaic-encrusted fountain to prove it.

I MIGLIORI PIEROGI MAI MANGIATI!
