This was originally a Peoples Drug, which opened in 1964. It later became a Dollar Tree.
Talking about grading in Science Methods today. Needed a graphic for my slides, so I snapped this one. I'd like to think that today's lesson got an A+, but I guess that's for my students to decide.
I do not condone 'street art' but Melbourne is full of it. Some is authorised by the Melbourne City Council and other examples are there just because individuals think they can spray away.
There are people who take tourists on tours around the back streets exploring this work.

Pathfinder Plus is a high-altitude, solar-powered, unmanned experimental aircraft intended to explore the possibilities of unlimited-duration, high-altitude reconnaissance. During the 1990s, it conducted 10 test flights, three of which set altitude records, the highest of which was 24,445m (80,201 ft). The aircraft was built under the sponsorship of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization.

Algues brunes, vertes, rouges fournissent les substances, alginates, carraghénanes, agars, que l'industrie adapte à des usages innombrables entrant de plus en plus dans la vie moderne, qu'il s'agisse de matériaux courants (textiles, papiers, films, peintures), de toutes sortes d'aliments pour l'homme ou les animaux d'élevage, de médicaments, de produits de beauté,...
1500 habitants peuplent Lembongan et plus de 500 d'entre-eux travaillent pour l'algoculture. Cette activité économique devance encore le tourisme mais la tendance s'inverse rapidement. Les milliers de tonnes d'algues sont produites chaque année au prix d'un travail harassant du lever au coucher du soleil. Il n'est pas rare de voir des algoculteurs travailler la nuit. Plongés la plupart du temps dans l'eau, parfois jusqu'au cou, les algoculteurs acrochent dans leurs parcs des fils où sont attachés les algues une par une. Elles restent un peu plus d'un mois immergées dans la lagune le temps de produire de nouvelles pousses. Les chapelets d'algues sont alors ressortis de l'eau considérablement alourdis et apportés sur terre dans de grands panniers en bambous sur la tête des femmes ou à dos d'homme. Les pousses sont enlevées et séchés par terre sur de grandes bâches. Les algues sont réattachées aux ficelles et replongées dans la lagune pour un nouveau cycle.
Il est difficile d'avoir des chiffres exacts sur le prix de vente. On parle de 6000 roupiah le kilo d'algues sèches. Il faut 3 jours complet de soleil direct pour sécher une algue.
L'Indonésie produit 188000 tonnes chaque année.

Provins (prononcé [pʁɔ.ˈvɛ̃]) est une commune française située à soixante-dix-sept kilomètres au sud-est de Paris, sous-préfecture du département de Seine-et-Marne dans la région Île-de-France. Elle est le chef-lieu de l'arrondissement et du canton. Ses habitants sont appelés les Provinois.
Ancienne capitale des comtes de Champagne, Provins est inscrite depuis le 13 décembre 2001 sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO
La ville est située dans le sud-est du département de Seine-et-Marne, à environ 49,4 kilomètres à l’est de Melun
Sur le plateau briard, Provins est bâtie autour d'un promontoire, au confluent de la vallée de la Voulzie et de celle du Durteint.

Provins is not the largest city in the arrondissement, but it is the seat. The largest town is Montereau-Fault-Yonne.
The arrondissement has 7 cantons, 125 communes and 112,020 residents. The canton of Provins has 15 communes and 21,000 residents.
Provins is known for its medieval fortifications, such as the Tour César (the Caesar Tower) and well-preserved city walls.
The Saint Quiriace Collegiate Church is located here. The Empress Galla Placidia is said to have presented Ancona in Italy with the relics of Judas Cyriacus. However, the saint's head was situated at Provins, brought from Jerusalem by Henry I of Champagne, who built a church in this town to display it. It is still at the Saint Quiriace Collegiate Church, although construction work during the 12th century was never completed due to financial difficulties during the reign of Philippe le Bel. A dome was added in the 17th century, and the old families of Provins who lived in the upper town were called "Children of the Dome." After the addition of the dome, however, no further restoration efforts have been made towards the church. The police station (2010) is a piece of contemporary architecture designed by Parisian architects Philippe Ameller and Jacques Dubois.
Two sets of caves underlie parts of the town. The first type were probably used to store food in the Middle Ages. The second, deeper, type contains Bronze and Iron Age graffiti
