The good end of an old but still usable extention cord. I cut off the bad end and draped the wire over the vice on my work bench. A week or so later I had a few minutes so I thought I would replace the bad end. I quickly wired the replacement end and left. A few days later I went to coil the cord and hang it up. To my amusement what I saw was an example of "haste makes waste". I rarely do anything silly like this, especially when it comes to wiring. Results below...

It was raining on my way to the concert so I just brought my point and shoot camera. huhuuuu. I could't even super zoom it coz my hands were shaking... It was super cold as hell but it was a nice concert. Another first time in Japan. :)

Finally to take away my pain, my earplugs arrived! But... always a but... they didn't filter like a asked for, they blocked everything out. Had to send them back to replace the filters... Will see how long this take this time...Am being patient again!
