PointyThing's first writing with light - long exposure. Writing is continuous (the light is always on), have to manually cover the lens between letters.
One of a set of photos where I played around with single light sources and different exposures. Being a child of the sixties, I own my own lava lamp.
I am pretty terrible at using photo shop, so any effects I want in my photos pretty much have to be done at the time the image is taken. Here the hubby is standing as still as humanely possible as I dance around him with the flames :)
A happy evening with artistic collaborator. Projectiing torch light through a prism and then backwards though a kaleidoscope-kaleidoscope on to a wall (black card in this case)
My first go at painting with light. This was done by covering a LED torch with a cone of white card and just waving it around to create the shape of a child over a long exposure, in hindsight I would have found a way to mask the backdrop
whilst practicing for my double exposure project i over exposed the subject, and with the help of technology and photoshop i have made it somewhat recognizable! & for some odd reason i actually kind of like it :)
my joe and I had a great time today, playing with those amazing natural ice sculptures!
I used 3 different cameras (Nikon d5000, Canon A470 (supermacro) and Panasonic FZ5)
