I will away from flicker for a while, thank you always for your time for my streams, much appreciated.
Happy Camera Day to you ^^b
A kid's playground structure during COVID shut down when no play was allowed. Someone wrote this graffiti inside this slide as-if the structure itself was mocking the situation.
Glad all the kids were gone

I heard other parents laugh when I crawled underneath this play structure to take this photo. This is such a difficult exposure (no flash) but this is the best I could do under the conditions. I'd like to return during recess to perfect this photo.
Here is my first attempt with just my daughter, taken several months ago in better light.
This looks better large. Anyone having trouble viewing flickr's lightbox?

Tricky exposure but I hope that the title makes it seem that the brightness was intentional. Taken at a playground where my kids ride their bikes.
Happy weekend to you all!

Was watching the kid goats at Cal Poly and was taken by this group who seemed to have found a play structure...to hop on/off of, to bounce on, to push your friend off of...all kinds of fun!
And fun to watch.
At the age of two the steps seem not that far down...but careful!
I know....I have posted quite a few but that is the joy of being a "Gangie" you can take the photos and have a grandma's brag book here on flickr...besides, I haven't been out too far with my camera....I am busy still unpacking :-)
Maybe it's the weather, maybe it's COVID keeping this playground empty.

Here's my 10 month old step-granddaughter playing at a park near our place yesterday. It was a bit cooler outside, hence the warm but oh-so cute hat! :)
A week ago I lost my only battery for my camera. I (with the help of my family) looked high and low for it but couldn't find it. Finally last night looking at my sons roller blades I remembered they were under the socket my battery was charging in. I reached in and found the battery and the charger. HORRAY!!! I felt like celebrating. So my son and I headed out on our bikes with our cameras. We found ourselves at the park and I took this photo last night.
Playing around in Photoshop this evening. With the Orton Effect her mittens are more vibrant, her coat darker, Tigger is brighter and yet her face is a layer that was actual colouring from the cold January weather. Pink nose and cheeks!
More Park fun, this little slide was just her size!
Hat from GP, Coat from Gangie's Pen Pal in Sheffield England :-)
Mike had an appt with the tooth fairy so I came along with my camera. Our family health team/dental office is adjacent to the beach. It was too windy for anyone to be there today.
I hope you know that I appreciate your comments and visits. I may not get back to you quickly but I will try my best.

Shortly before dawn, back at the playground, lying in the snow and looking up; COLD, my fingers were killing me when I got back inside.
Back to work and school today.
