Unearthed from my archives is this September 2003 peek along the platforms at Lichfield City Station. To the left you can catch trains towards Lichfield Trent Valley, whereas services to Birmingham call on the right.
... which will stop exactly opposite the glass doors on the platform. A driverless shuttle, it turned out.

A peek along platform 2 reveals that Birmingham International Station was surprisingly quiet when I called in one afternoon back in April 2005.
These kind of leaf designs are common in some of the platforms in Singapore. :) It is something unique to Singapore, I think. :)
