This is the Weekly view of my DIY planner I designed and printed at home. For years I'd used every planner system on the market - Covey, Day-Timer, Time Design - you name it - I've used them. Gets quite expensive after so many years! So, I took all the best ideas from every system and incorporated them all into my own page design. Hope you like it! This is my first photo so I apologize if the quality's a little off. There are various other sections and forms I've created which I hope to post soon if anyone is interested. On a final note, I've been browsing everyone's planner pics for a long time now and am SO glad there are others out there with the same passion for planners and paper that I have.

My entry to Moda Bake Shop Sliced Contest (Auditions).

This version of my week planner is designed for two family members (each member has its own row) - half of charm pack is needed to make it (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for back and binding.

In version for four family members one charm pack is needed (for colorful parts) plus fabric for white sashing, fabrics for backing and binding.

It can be also used at the office.

Corners of each square are pockets to put there cards with plan for each day of the week or another information. These corners were made from 1/4 of charms and they are sewn between the rows.

Buckle is used to indicate day of the week. When the day changes, buckle is moved to another.

Depending on weight of the buckle (mine is quite heavy) buttons for secure the strip are needed.

Machine quilted (cotton batting was used) and machine bound.

Daily planner and a matching pencil case :)

Another week decorated in my Smash Book Arc planner.

I use Post-it-Notes tabs of three color and assigned four months for each color.

I got it early to tab it out and then add in birthdays, and anniversaries.

I have a whole years to look forward to.

The Post it stickers are removable and durable.

Sharpies fine marker seems to work well on the plastic surface of the Post-it Notes.

This set of planner pages can be filled out with the current dates for any given year. I turned the designs into a pdf so that you can print and make your own custom planner at www.droplet.etsy.com

A week from my planner.

a page from my old school planner.

When i first saw Patrick Ng‘s mind.Depositor i was blown away. It is very sophisticated and looks so great! But i wanted to build something around my beloved Moleskine 18 months - Weekly Notebook. I started with some sketches and a paperboard mock-up. It worked fine and i decided to use it for a while. So i went through my old magazines in search for some nice pictures that would prettify it.

Niemeyer Cultural Centre, Le Havre, France

Officially inaugurated in November 1982, this building, all volumes and curves, imposes a lyrical presence in a strictly orthogonal urban environment. It was renovated and refurnished in 2014. The architect and city planner Auguste Perret wanted the Place Gambetta to be once more the artistic and cultural centre of the city. But this was not to be. Oscar Niemeyer will be the one to fulfil Perret’s ambition between 1978 and 1982. Therefore the two masters of reinforced concrete show each other off: the free and fluid lines of Oscar Niemeyer echo the majestic and orthogonal ones of Auguste Perret in admirable fashion. Brasilia & Le Havre - These two twentieth century cities belong to the World Heritage list: Le Havre, rebuilt after WWII, and the new city of Brasilia. Listed in 1987, the Capital of Brazil was created from scratch at the end of the 1950s, at the very centre of the country, by urbanist Lucio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer, who built particularly innovative official buildings there. The creation of Brasilia was a major event of the history of urbanism because of the challenge at stake, the enormous size of the project and monies involved. The Maison de la Culture (cultural centre) of Le Havre is one of the major projects famous sculptor-architect Oscar Niemeyer realized outside of his country, Brazil. His architectural expression follows the tenets of Le Corbusier. Architecture here shows a veil of concrete painted white, free curving shapes trying to express architectural poetry. Loved, hated, misunderstood, acknowledged the world over, Oscar Niemeyer’s work leaves no-one unmoved. The Maison de la Culture is renamed Le Volcan (the Volcano) in 1990. The Volcano - Hyperbolic, it is the largest building whose shell was calculated and drawn using a computer programme derived from a NASA one. There used to be 1.200 seats in the theatre, on an amphitheatre lay-out, looking out over a 25,70 m wide, 8,50 m high stage. The theatre was totally renovated in 2015, wood being the main material used: seats, flooring, entrance hall desks. A smaller theatre is available, used for shows for children and conferences. The Oscar Niemeyer Library - A smaller hall used to present various artistic and theatre projects, concerts or dance shows. Nowadays, it has been turned into a modern Public library.

Have a look!

Former warehouse Fenix I, Rotterdam, with lofts by Mei Architects and Planners

In 1922 the San Franciscoloods was built on Katendrecht, Rotterdam, after a design by architect C.N. van Goor. This warehouse was 360 meters long and was entirely aimed at the transshipment of goods from the port for the Holland-America line. Two railway lines ran through the shed, the roof had cranes and it was also equipped with thirteen lifts for trucks to the first floor. Towards the end of the Second World War, the center section of this logistics machine was destroyed by fire and was not rebuilt. The sheds Fenix I and Fenix II were subsequently rebuilt on either side of this.

The task for this time was a new volume on top of the shed. A tender was issued among three offices and aimed at the renovation of the Fenix I shed and a varied residential program of rental and owner-occupied apartments. This competition was won by Mei Architects and Planners. Mei suggested making the building lower towards the landward side and higher towards the waterfront. On the harbor side, the building has nine floors, a scale that matches the Wilhelmina Pier on the other side of the Rijnhaven. On the Katendrecht side, the number of storey's has been reduced to six floors. A mixed program with work, culture and recreation is provided in the existing shed under the houses. A public passage runs right through the building, located between the parking garage and a culture cluster. Glass walls offer passers-by and residents a glimpse into the culture cluster and turn the passage into a turning point between shed and neighborhood. In this public central zone there are two glass lift towers that rise high and open up the residential galleries in the courtyards.

Gross floor area 45,000 m2

Cultural and culinary facilities program (8,500 m2), 225 parking spaces (9,000 m2), 212 loft apartments (78 for rent and 134 for sale, 23,000 m2)

start design February 2014 - construction 2015 - 2019 - Construction sum € 48,000,000

The Scription Chronodex (scription.typepad.com/blog/2011/11/scription-chronodex-we...) is by far on the most innovative ideas I've seen all year. Trying to give it a go to see if it's something I might stick with for my analog planning needs.

My new planner combines two different bindings, inkjet printed kozu paper and twill tape straps.
