Caledonia waterfalls, is one of the highest water falls in Cyprus. It is located on Platres village in Troodos and the water fells from a height of 12 meters. It can be reached via a walking path.
Caledonia waterfall is surrounded by forest in a very beautiful area with breathtaking views. The trail is 3km long and can last up to 2 hours. It can also be divided into two parts, the first one which is the higher one that leads to the waterfalls and the second one which leads from the waterfall to Platres.

These platanus trees are strangely swollen at the base - must be some disease. / Ezek a platánok talán valami fertőzés miatt dagadtak meg középen.

What I assume is a London Plane tree (Platanus x acerifolia) at the intersection of Baker Street and Park Road, just outside Regent's Park. The London Plane originated in the 17th century through hybridization between Oriental Plane (Platanus orientalis) and American Sycamore (Platanus occidentalis) trees that were planted near to each other, either in Spain or in England. The hybrid species was first discovered by John Tradescant the Younger in Vauxhall Gardens, London. London Plane trees are very tolerant of air pollution, and thus are widely planted in cities.
