About 6" tall "pitchers" hung down from a plant in the water exhibit at the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.

a beautiful spring day in wonderful Wisley. so much to see (and photograph) so much to enjoy. just what living is made for.

We took a family trip to Longwood Gardens on Wednesday.

Purple Pitcher Plant (Sarracenia purpurea), one of several species of Sarracenia found in the Green Swamp near Wilmington, North Carolina.

 

Nepenthes are dioecious; this is a male plant.
