A group of Stone Pines (Pinus pinea). This characteristically flat-topped tree from the Mediterranean region grows to 25 m high and is cultivated for its seeds, which are sold as 'pine nuts'. www.botanicalstockphotos.com/photos-trees-shrubs.html

Austrian pine is a medium to large conifer that is native from central and southeastern Europe to western Asia. It grows 40-60’ tall over time (less frequently to 100’). Trees exhibit a dense pyramidal habit in youth. Planted in 2013."

The narrow unbranched trunk of the Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster [syn. Pinus maritima]), a 35m tall evergreen conifer found in coastal regions from Atlantic Europe around the Mediterranean to Greece.
