There are a lot of amazing, beautiful, and beautifully amazing species of pines, but this will always be my favorite. Home to the White-headed Woodpecker, the Pygmy Nuthatch, and the Flammulated Owl, among many others. A 'regal" forest, when the trees are mature. And then there's the bark!
