One of the many dogs of the Philippines known in the country as ASPIN short for Asong Pinoy (Filipino Dog). They are primarily dogs that guard property and farmland from theft. These dogs will bite strangers. They are not treated as pets like dogs are in the North America, but they do get their human bonding time with their owners family usually as puppies with children. They are normally fed leftover foods. Dog food is too expensive for most families to purchase.
