āA dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor, big or small, young or old. He doesn't care if you're not smart, not popular, not a good joke-teller, not the best athlete, nor the best-looking person. To your dog, you are the greatest, the smartest, the nicest human being who was ever born. You are his friend and protector.ā

capturing a butterfly
with a camera
makes a great metaphor
for freezing fleeting bursts
of magical moments
each flitter is a unique gesture
which passes in an instant
each flutter is a singular motion
which never comes back
Looking through my viewfinder while trying to capture this butterfly reminded me how important it is to live in the moment. It doesnāt matter how simple or insignificant that moment might seem to be. I know that within it lie incredible wonders, but which only my heart can see.
