The water ran for many hours and built up some great icicles.

Practised with a lowbudget camera for six months before buying a more expensive one. The rules where "Only use kit-lens and camera, no additional addons such as flash or other lenses allowed"

松園別館

 

My initial thoughts was wanted to show the Song Shan Guest House in Hualien, Taiwan in monochromatic rendition as I felt that the place suits the moody black & white ambience than the colour version.

 

Here's the colour version for your comparison.

 

On top of that the weather was so gloomy and rainy when I was there so, it makes more punch with the B&W rendition. Look out for the colour version in a day's time.

i loved these "pine trees" that i saw so much in Hawaii

New trees were planted everywhere which made me happy.
