I started a 365 project today! This is the first photo. I'm sure this 365 project is going to be both the best experience of my photographic life, and probably also the most hell. A photo a day is quite a commitment!

Adelaide-Skye: Giant, did you adopt a Pinhead?

Me: Yes I did, Addy sweetie

Adelaide-Skye: She’s living with us? We don’t take her clothes and kick her out of the house?

Me: Yes she's specially made for me.

Pinhead: Hello there?

Adelaide-Skye: OK Giant.

Pinhead: Hello there?

Adelaide-Skye: Hello, nice to met you. Did you had a nice journey? You’re looking familiar.

Hazel-leaf Roller Weevil. Actually quite a dapper little fella and very small, the head is just over 1mm (0.04 inch) in size.

Dutch: Hazelaarbladrolkever (Apoderus coryli)

Pinhead?

This pretty Vietnamese lady is a pinhead wisp (Agriocnemis femina) damselfly which was a very cooperative model and even went for a short spin before landing at a different angle allowing for some more shots.

"

They tell us that

We lost our tails

Evolving up

From little snails

I say it’s all

Just wind in sails

Are we not men?

We are devo!

We’re pinheads now

We are not whole

We’re pinheads all

Jocko homo

Are we not men?

Monkey men all

In business suit

Teachers and critics

All dance the poot

Are we not men?

We are devo!

God made man

But he used the monkey to do it

Apes in the plan

We’re all here to prove it

I can walk like an ape

Talk like an ape

I can do what a monkey can do

God made man

But a monkey supplied the glue

We must repeat

O.k. let’s go! "

Little doubt that she is portraying a character from a Horror movie, but I know so little about the genre that I can't say who or what. I was later told that she is a female pinhead. Figures.

It's been a few years since I've been to this event and it seems to have grown and changed. We didn't see as many people in costume as we once did, but that may be because we left too soon as the costume contest was in the evening. Also, we had a better chance of avoiding bricks as the background. You just do what you can with what you are presented with.

Pinhead loses his arms whilst the chair loses his legs slowly helping each other out and becoming one.

I found these little insects on some of the Milkweed pods. There are hundreds of them on each pod. They are as small as a pinhead.
