No really, it is this time. :-) this is the fifth shot of the day and the last shot before my advent of the bipod. One leg sheared off at the top so the rest of the day is handheld. We packed a weekend into five hours up here. what a beautiful place.
This picture was taken by my daughter Lucia. Lucy is 11 years old. Daddy did some cropping and processing. And Lucy is looking forward to your comments. :-)

It is a mistake to believe that everything happens for a reason. The pattern is symmetrical: that is all. You may as I do, interpret that pattern as a helmeted head with a bolt through the neck and an overcoat of fine cloth on arms and two strong legs, but not so: just our predisposition to representing symmetrical patterns in our minds as life forms.

I find seaweed very fascinating...and especially the red algae....this one is one i found last year in may and I am not sure what kind of red algae it is......I guess it is some kind of Ceramium or red hornweed....
I did take some close-up photos of it....placing it in water in my plastic-bowl, which is white and make it easy to see the structure of the seaweed.....
and i come to know it further by drawing it.....
So here are some of the steps in my work making it a picture....
