Yes, I am lame. I bought two personal pies (apple for Scott, strawberry rhubarb for me) today just because it's 3.14.
In honor of pi day Zappos.com's development department decided to host a company wide craft project building tetrahedrons. Their goal was to make it to a level 6, but there wasn't enough space.
This morning I arrived on campus to find that some Pi Day celebrants had scrawled the digits of pi in a line snaking around the math building and over to the Campanile. The sequence was annotated when various numerical sequences came up, such as the above note for 42.
I made it with what we had on hand, which was frozen (homemade, at least) pie dough, canned peaches, and chestnut paste. It's still delicious.
