Each year on March 14th, Langara's Mathematics & Sciences celebrates Pi Day on 3.14 at 3:14pm by giving out 314 slices of pie. Students enter a draw and one lucky winner receives a $314 tuition prize.

Having established that I could get GPIO output working, I've added a switch for input. This enables me to switch between different flashing patterns for my set of LEDs.

After a tour of RIM, we stopped by to visit the Perimeter Insititute of Theoretical Physics, which was founded by RIM President/CEO Mike Lazaridis.
The building was gorgeous, but the staff weren't too keen on us taking pictures, so this is all I got. :(
Perfect for your mathematically inclined friend! Three (3) blank ivory greeting cards with envelopes. I screen printed a navy blue distored pi symbol onto the front of each card. It is an original and handmade design by me!
Great for any occasion. ~4x5.5"
What's so cool about Pi? From wikipedia...
"Pi or π is one of the most important mathematical constants, approximately equal to 3.14159. It represents the ratio of any circle's circumference to its diameter in Euclidean geometry, which is the same as the ratio of a circle's area to the square of its radius. Many formulae from mathematics, science, and engineering involve π."
In celebration of March 14, Abby made homemade apple pi pie, which we had with some Saint Lawrence Red from the Thousand Islands Winery.

I suspect that the latter is more accurate as they also have it to the first thousand digits

Our niece is entranced by the Twilight series (I've neither read the books nor seen the movies). I wanted to make a shawl for her that looked like a pool of blood.
