Here's a perfectly good, sound activated EL wire driver. It's not very fun, though, because I can't turn it on and off via the terminal on my laptop. Let's fix it!

The wire glows surprisingly bright, and I can drive the frequency up to about 1500Hz and down to about 200Hz for a wide range of brightness.
This fount was deliberately pied - it was dirty: mixed nicks, short sorts, multiple baselines. Stayed on the floor for at least a month.
Photo by Jarett. This isn't the best photo of the scarf but you can tell basically what's going on. There are some problems with the scarf that I will fix the second time around (see notes). It goes almost to my knees when wrapped around my neck once.

Cala Pi ist eine wunderschöne von Kiefern umgebene Buch mit dem alten Verteidigungsturm aus dem 16 Jh. Zu einer bestimmten Tageszeit leuchtet die Buch in Türkisfarben.

I pried off a couple of triacs. I'll try and solder some headers onto these ( I've done it before on slightly larger surface mount components ) and see if they still work.
