Liam, let's walk alongside Colleen & Kevin through your high school, cross-country stomping grounds. I miss you buddy and will carry these memories wherever I go. (weekly theme: "Liam" | in memoriam)
Sophie, my twin sis left for uni two days ago. :( I have two more weeks before I leave, and so she set up a surprise photo-a-day challenge'. Woop!
"Day 1 (Monday): Okay, so you're obviously missing me loads already. (If not, you should be!) So take a photo of something that reminds you of me. Okay, so this one is a bit Sophie-centred, but I promise you they're not all like that!"
Lunch today was the same as usual, cheese on toast, with strawberry milk (you obvs have choc milk), watching tv. You were acting a bit weird at lunch today tho Sophs. ;)
Okaay, so in order to take this photo I had my camera on a tripod and used my remote control on a 2sec timer so I could hide it. I did eat two lunches :P I even drank your chocolate milk for you! I feel a bit ill now... ;)
And I watched 'Tooth and Claw', awesome episode! Davey T has his scottish accent!
Hope this is up to your expectations Sophters. ;)
"Day 14 (Sunday): Take a photo of the other 4 in the family seeing as you'll be leaving soon! Make it a bit different from the usual family photo. Themed, funny, whatever it is, make it different!"
The family were acting a bit out of character today Sophs, sorry, this is the best photo I could get. ;)
PS It was Dad's idea, I told them at lunch that they had to be in the photo, and that if they had any ideas to tell me. There was no choice in the matter. :P

Traffic diverted + rush hour = way too long to go back home

Panoramic picture taken in London, Regents Street, with a Lumix Lx3 Camera at rush hour.
"Day 3 (Wednesday): Photo theme for today: reflection. Interpret it however you want. =) Happy snapping!"
Well, today I felt I needed to get out the house for a bit, mainly so I could prove to mum that I do go outside occasionally, ;) I didn't have much of an idea of what reflections I was going to take pictures of, I just thought "pond = ducks!"
This photo hasn't been cropped, and hasn't been edited much! It's definitely a reflection because Maxwell Park pond is a murky brown colour, not blue!
I feel like I am betraying ducks (the best animals ever, obviously!) by having this photo which has no sign of ducks in it, but the reflections are best in this one.
Hope you had a good day today Sophers, I am looking forward to hearing which sport you chose. :)
July the 4th. Day 185. I'd had this idea in my head for a while now, and, today, the stars alligned and I was able to try at it. It didn't work out exactly as I planned, but it was still a fun shoot :)
Depending on your angle, green is one of the colors a peacock's feather may become (weekly series: "Green" | the color).

Day 60 of 365, Hinding Kingfisher... Spent the morning back at Milton Country Park as I knew with the sun shinning it would be a good day to see if I could photograph the Kingfisher. I had given up for the day, but as I headed back to the car I saw my brothers car in carpark so decided to see what he was up to... We met up walked and talked for a bit, discussed the Kingfishers, saw a pair fly across the pit and decided to see if we could find them... After a while my brother headed off in one direction and I in the other...Guess you managed to find the place where the Kingfishers were fishing....
