Gotta love a slinky. :) There will be more slinky shots very soon. :)

Had a good weekend, I hope you all did. Our show Saturday night at Marty's went really well! We had a great time, it was a short gig (we only played 2 hours), the crowed enjoyed us, the room was fantastic to play in...really easy with concrete floors and an open room, not alot to soak up the music but people! It sounded great, we sounded great. Hopefully we'll be booked back in there again. Only downfall? Sunday morning! I felt like I'd been run over! Concrete floors: great for bouncing music around a room, terrible for a singer's feet and legs (and back). But, it wore off as the day went on thankfully. I'm not so bad today, just still a bit tired. In a couple of weeks we have another show on Saturday and then an appearance on Sunday at another show. It's going to be a busy weekend that week. But it's okay. :) I love it.

Happy New Year!

I do NOT make New Year's "resolutions, but I told myself that I will take at least 1 "photograph a day" (but they will definitely NOT be posted every day, I will be lucky to post them monthly), and check off one "bucket list" item per month in 2014. There is an excellent chance that I will not leave home today, so here is 1/365.

Puerto Madero CABA Ar

This is my handy and trusty buddy!!! This is where all the actions were saved and stored! If this crash or get lost, I am totally screwed because I DO NOT HAVE a back-up!!! I know, it's such an intelligent idea (insert sarcasm).

Just got this new 50 1.4 from eBay today. I bought a for parts/not working model for $120 and repaired it today. Took me around 3 hours, all dumb mistakes. Luckily it's in better condition than when I started. It actually focuses now so that's great. It's pretty quick too. If anyone has trouble with this repair, don't tighten any of the white plastic runners or the front filter piece too much. I stopped tightening when I felt even a bit of resistance and that's the only reason why it works. I realized this cause the lens worked without the focusing ring and the front ring, but not when those were attached.

Good luck!

It's an old photo, I took with my Nikon D70s (long time ago) but I like the colors and the composition. :)

We're having new moon so there's no way to take a pic today.. :~

Haruki Murakami is quite possibly my favourite author, I love it how he makes everyday life and ordinary things sound magical somehow, but he's also not too cheerful. His books are a perfect balance of everything I enjoy in a good book.
