yep, I have a bigger head than any of them!
I'm holding the favorite Blythe and the first Blythe (who's desperately in need of some spa time) Here are the questions and answers:
1.What is your favorite doll from your personal collection?
Reggie is the one who always gets the most attention, and will never go anywhere, so she's probably my favorite. I have a *SERIOUS* soft spot for Nico (my AB), though, I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of her soon.
2. Favorite BL release?
Kozy, she's the only one I've been tempted enough to actually adopt. I miss my li'l Lemon, but she's in a home now where she hopefully gets more attention. Reggie steals the show here.
3. Favorite EBL release?
Piccadilly Dolly, followed closely by Asian Butterfly. There are others who are gorgeous and much more pretty, but they're both cute and quirky, which is why I love them.
4. Favorite SBL release?
Mod Molly is the only one I've gotten attached to and held on to. I do love the little Picca encore :)
5. Favorite RBL release?
Are you kidding me? There are only a billion RBLs! If we're talking stock, right out of the box, I've always wanted PAM and she was the one I wanted for my first doll before I knew that she was expensive. Of the RBLs I can have, I probably love my Primadolly Peach best. I'm more attached to my Ebony and Capchat and PuPe, but not without their customizations. There are others who are super-pretty, but quirky or sassy seems to get to stay here while pretty girls don't last (though Peach is gorgeous, mine "seems" to have quite the attitude, as does Capchat).
6. Favorite FBL release?
The only one I ever wanted to start with was the original Paris, and I'd still love to adopt her. I do love SSS's electric blue hair--I can't wait to customize Gadget.
7. List your 3 favorite customizers for Blythe. (these are the first 3 off the top of my head)
Zaloa (Amy's the only one I know of who has a specific style that I love and don't EVER get tired of);
blythephotos (because of AWESOME creations like Roadkill and stretching Blythes to all limits)
and Dr. Blythenstein, for the same reasons. See: www.flickr.com/photos/drblythenstein/4271772291/in/set-72...
8. List your 3 favorite clothing designers for Blythe.
Hm, this is difficult because I haven't really gotten any clothes other than at sundries sales and swaps and finally, Blythecon. I don't feel I know enough to make an informed decision. Obviously, we like fun, bright things. Designers I know personally and really admire their work are Cara (fka darksmokeyskies) and Laura (plasticfashion) for sewing, Nan (dressing Blythe) for knitting and amazing hand-sewn clothes, and Jen (wheatpennyjenny) for her fun and whimsical felt creations. OH! I also LOVE Dot-Z! I have ordered 3 of her dresses.
9. What are your favourite stock outfits?
Of the ones I've seen, Art Attack's stock, Gentle River's coat, Casual affair's stock. I love lots of their glasses and boots :D
10. What would you like to see CWC/Takara come out with in the near future?
more variations in skin tone/ ethnicity in Blythe dolls, better hair and haircuts again!
11. How did you get into Blythe?
My dear friend's sister was very much into Blythe (Lisa/dolli*fever) and I liked her photo stories. I went over to her house one time and she showed me her dolls in person and gave me a copy of Gina's book (she had a duplicate). I was scared to death to hold her red-haired kenner and pull the string. When I heard that little "pip," I was completely enchanted.
12. What do you collect other than Blythe?
fairytales/myths/legends/folklore, vintage cookbooks, old books on things like etiquette and education and psychology (so, mostly books). Blythe is really my only big "guilty pleasure" splurge. I do really love fancy/fun/quirky papers, stationery, and stickers, too, and can never have enough of them. I love pieces of my friends' artwork best of anything (drawings, dolls, blankets, scarves, photographs, jewelry, etc.). It's not really a collection, but I love to participate in all sorts of swaps as well.
I'm late in the tagging game, but if you haven't done it yet and would like to, I tag YOU!
This is my 3.000th photo I posted on Flickr!
Thank you ALL for your very nice SUPPORT and friendship.
There are coming more....:))

Your not so ordinary family picture.
Don't underestimate the booth.
Yesterday (Oct 1st) my uncle, Lawrence, and his fiancé, Veronica got married. It was a great day -the wedding took place in a small homely chapel in the Presidio, followed by an evening time banquet in South San Francisco (dual lobster dish anyone?!).
It was great to see family [some of whom I rarely see] again, and to celebrate the union of two great people. The weather turned out nicely too. In the morning before the chapel business took place, it drizzled a little bit and it worried a couple of us for a small moment. Soon after the sun came out and burned off the fog, which made for splendid weather the rest of the day.
You'd all be proud to know that I didn't bring my camera to the wedding. Needless to say I didn't take any pictures at the wedding. It was nice going to a function like this and really just enjoying the spontaneity of everything instead of holding a camera to my face the entire time. Plus ... I'd say there was a fair amount of guests rocking their own SLR gear ... one of the guests even wielded dual D700's -cray cray!
At the banquet, off to the side, there was a photo booth for guests to use. I'd describe it as say a generous estimate would be a 6'x'6' makeshift room (props provided) for people to be buck wild silly in front of the camera. It makes for an awesome time. After some [provided] wigs, some oversized sunglasses, goofy hats, cool masks, and countless face contortions ... you've got yourself some priceless images.
Keepin' it classy with the cuzzos/Chens! Stay crunchy guys, stay crunchy!
Lighting was a single AB400 into a soft box in all of the images (couldn't help but notice!) -I personally think an additional AB400 on the side, or the bottom would've been nice for some fill. But, can't complain! :) I went ahead and scanned the originals on my computer -compiled them into one picture, and went ahead took the creative liberty of editing the resulting image a bit. The white balance was really wonky originally, so went ahead and adjusted that, as well as some curves work.

Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!

This shows the general setup with sweep, lights and camera. We have additional lights to use under the sweep for bottom lighting. Even so, we could always use more lights, but this setup is pretty versatile. Next step is to mount some weights and wheels on the tripod to make it heavier and more moveable.
WIN A BABYCATFACE DOLLY INSTAGRAM PHOTO CONTEST
(Podéis leerlo en castellano aquÃ: babycatfacedollies.blogspot.com.es/2014/10/win-babycatfac... )
First of all. Thank you so much for those amazing 3k followers in Instagram, you are the best! and this is to thank you all your support during these months.
As I decided months ago to make no more custom commissions, (just finishing the ones already started) I’ve decided it would be great to thank you all your support by giving you the opportunity of getting a Babycatface Dolly. That’s the way I think I can give you (all day supporters) back all your trust, beautiful words and fidelity.
But it won't be only a regular draw, it will be a happy and funny contest.
You won’t have to share the same -giveaway pic- over and over again to enter the competition, instead of that I only ask you:
-Upload a dolly pic that can show the concept -What’s a baby cat for you? - Abstract or literal sense, whatever you imagine; doll trying to be cat, dolls with cats, Halloween cat dolls, dolls with paws, dolls with ears, dolls drawing cats... whatever, maybe a cat doesn't have to appear, be creative!! but the photo has to be funny, cute or happy, to make everyone smile.
-It is not necesary to be a Blythe Photo (you can use any kind of doll), but the prize will be applied to a Blythe doll.
- Share your photo with hashtag #winababycatfacedolly. The more pics you share, the more posibilities to enter the final raffle. If you have a private account please tag me in the photo so that I can see it.
What I will do:
-First part of this funny game will be a contest, by the end of the competition I’ll pick 10 photos which I consider the best, funnier, beautiful, great... I’ll let you know the 10 selected pics and after that I’ll make the raffle with that 10 people.
- You can share photos with the hashtag from now to Saturday the 25th at 00:00 (spanish time). I will tell you the 10 selected pieces on Sunday the 26th, will make the raffle and announce the winner on Monday the 27th.
What I offer:
- A custom work by me on blythe doll.
So you would have to have a Blythe to send me when your custom turn comes. If you don’t have that doll to send me I will have to make another giveaway from rest of the selected people.
I'll work creatively as my own inspiration, feeling free creating and letting the doll shows her personality, of course you can tell me characteristics you like the most... but the creative work runs by me. I'll only accept RBL or FBL molds please.
-Shipping costs to send and receive back the doll will be paid from your account. New lashes, pullstrings, chips... have to be sent by you too.
What I want mostly doing this contest-raffle is having fun, enjoying the hobby, putting a smile in everyone's mouth and let our followers know how creative we can be and how happy dolls can make us. And if we get that I think we will all be winners.
Happy sharing!! I'm looking forward to see your pics!!
