Hi there,

We are so very inspired by everyone at 350.org and the people taking action all over the world. We are fasting today and spreading the word online about calling our leaders to demand 350 language in the Copenhagen agreement. Here in Australia we feel let down by our government who came to power promising to take strong action on climate change. We called both Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Climate Change Minister Penny Wong's offices to let them know how we feel.

The response was good - apparently they have had a lot of calls today!

Attached are a couple of pics of us making the phonecalls!

In solidarity,

Got really loose with this one.. the brush pen was running out too, which always allows for a more loose 'n gritty style. meanderink.blogspot.com

these girls were relaxed chatting together and to another on the phone. Seemingly a typical Saturday night out in, November, Reading.

thanks for getting me out of bed for this!

Senior Man Receiving Unwanted Telephone Call At Home

Not sure why we look so serious here. Darville and Stimpson place a call to Nickerbocker before the 2004 race in AZ.

There were a few telephone boxes that looked like they were part of some art installation, presumably by someone who doesn't like phonecalls.

Is having a operation (at time of posting) to have a lump the size of a tennisball removed from between his back legs.

He is old man now... and its 99%certain its fatty lump.... But still it scares me no end.. See you soon Buss!!

Amy is siting behind me in the car while i am waiting for the phonecall from vet to pick him up.. She is just looking out of the window very much at a loss...

where it all happens--i long ago abandoned the desk to phonecalls and addressing envelopes...to read the review of Fig, which I was composing at the time, see lemonhound.blogspot.com

My parents. I would tell them that I love them, thank them for everything they've done for me, ask them to tell everyone goodbye...then die so dramatically that I'd probably win an Oscar.

Oh bloody h**l.

Water main line in this part of the city had a "little" "leak" yesterday. Little flood and hours of repairing work... Yesterday morning when I was having a morning wash I wondered that do my eyes lie to me... water looked a little yellow.. But I was in a hurry and rushed outside... Because of the leak water direction was opposite than it usually is on the pipes, and so calcium from the piping"walls" start moving and turned the water look ugly.... "It's no harmful" said the Water company. All the waterbottles were sold out from the nearest grocery store, and city brought water tank nearby.

It didn't look bad at all in the evening. And not bad at all today, fresh and clear!!!

But when i had done dishes this evening.. and started rinsing... bloody hell... this isn't even the worst it looked. I was so angry because it's been a hot day and i just used all my ice cubes and wanted to do more.. But not with this water... I was so angry and called to Waterworks, and complained about water looking brown... "yeah, sure"... they had changed "something", i didn't quite get it, but water is still drinkable... And when I finished the phonecall, water started getting fresh looking again.. Phew..
