I found this quite amusing. Stop to take a photo and a guy driving a digger saw me, stopped, made a frantic phonecall, then came an asked why I was taking a photo. LOL. Bet he thought I was going to make a complaint.
Ring ring ring goes my mobile phone, I am on a roof in the howeling wind with the rain lashing down. The voice at the other end says "on your way home pick up 4 pints of milk and the County Press". I say OK Darling as cold rain runs inside the top of my coat and down my back. Can't wait for summer when the sun is beating down and burning my skin.

A quieter NYE than we were anticipating after the Christmas excesses caught up with Pa. A&M returned to Haslemere in the morning, A phonecall from Jim as Afghanistan crossed into 2012 (at 7:30pm) and then we were all in bed asleep before 11pm...

I have had a very lovely day today. The children have been building up to Mother's Day for about a week, telling me they would do all my jobs for me, including any emails or phonecalls I might need to do, slightly to my alarm!
However, it started well with a lie in and possibly my first ever breakfast in bed! (with a little help from Granny). Lots of homemade cards, some flowers and a heart-shaped biscuit Jack had made at school, and a little set of tins to put my sewing things in all added to the occasion, and this message from Jack which brought a little tear to my eye.
And the icing on the cake, I had my own mum here too, so I was able to give her a cuddle and cook her a Sunday roast. Am feeling very lucky to have two lovely children and a mum who is my best friend too.

I got a phonecall the other day from my sister, informing me, amongst other things, that she'd found a cool spider web in an empty flowerpot under the steps at mum and dad's place, and I should totally check it out if I got there while there was still enough light when I was over there next. So, Fonza m'dear, here is your spiderweb photo! ;-)
I may think that the creatures that make these things are totally evil, but I've got nothing against the webs themselves, (unless I unexpectedly walk through one, and then I freak out that there must be a spider on me).
I know this shot is mostly blurry, and the parts in the foreground are over exposed, but I kinda love that because it looks like two bolts of lightning connecting, and the rest of the web is some kind of cosmic, electrical ZZZAP!

2 in the morning after a sixteen hour day in the office and an exhaustively long phonecall. I was tired, cold, thoroughly beat.
So the title doesn't really fit. But you know what? It's hands down the best song to throw your hands in the air to of the year.

So this is a sweet day for me, I got a phonecall from work this morning saying that our network is down and to come in at 11. Then I got another call saying that there is no ETA on the network going back up so call everything 30. Well its 230 and still NOTHING!!!! So, I got to do some much needed laundry and cleaning this morning!!!!
Kinda the reason why I'm rocking another crew shirt, this I was the first movie I ever worked on. I did some R&D on Flags of Our Fathers before going onto the WONDERFUL Zoom Academy!!!!! See what had happened was, I got an email about crew shirts and Flags had some good, simple designs on some really nice quality tees, I'm not sure who makes this shirt but the other Flags tee is an American Standard tee ...really BALLER. So I order these and then I got an email about Zoom crew gear but no pics of the shirt just a really bad drawing of the design that was goin on it!! I ordered a ton of those shirts b/c I was DUMB and was pumped about Zoom being the first movie I'd get a credit on.... well, you can find day I wore the Zoom crew tee and see how I feel about that one...
