Poor old Phil is dying. He has retreated to a plant under the hedge and is hidden from view there. At first I thought he had been injured but his behaviour has been changing over the past 4 days. He has given me oodles of fun and photographs so I will miss him :-( On the up side he has become one of fattest pheasants around and has had an ideal life :-) (This was a little yoga stretching last year)

An extremely difficult image to process as the original out of camera colors were so unappealing I considered deleting it. Instead, I processed it in both Elements and On1 to see what I could do with it. I liked the way the clouds were reflected in the building so did the work, compared the results, and preferred the On1 version (though it still required a great deal of work when exported to Elements and the plug-ins I have there).
When the Montreal GODS come to Philly, we make it hot! Much love to all my Philly peeps! Much respect to Del aka Slick Saer (I cee you Baby!), Rame, Seak and Krak Nasty! For many different reasons, Philadelphia is definitely my favorite city in all the USA, no question! I been coming down and ima keep on comming back.
Class 24 D5054 ‘Phil Southern’ was on diesel duty and is seen here at Burrs Country Park Station. The online timetable had this down as steam but the chalkboard timetable in Ramsbottom Station suggested that it might be the diesel!
From The Colonial Golf Tournament in Ft. Worth Texas a few years back when I was invited to the Pro-AM to play a round and got matched up with the great Phil Mickelson. Congrats to him winning the PGA Championship yesterday!
