The Renault 4CV project was secretly developed during WWII. The body was styled by Berthaud. In 1946 the new small Renault was presented in Paris to the audience and press.

In early 1953 the six tiny ornamental front strips were changed into these three bigger ones. These star shaped wheel rims are probably not the original ones: in Autumn 1957 they were replaced by closed disc shaped ones.

Walton (NZ), 19 april 2011 - Met staaltrein 348 aan de haak zijn KiwiRail's DCP 4611 en DFT 7092 op weg van de haven van Mount Maunganui naar de grote staalfabriek bij Mission Bush.

--

Walton (NZ), 19 April 2011 - The East Coast Main Trunk Railway (ECMT) between the port of Mount Maunganui, near Tauranga, and Hamilton is one of the busiest stretches of railway in New Zealand. Traffic is diverse, ranging from long intermodal trains to and from Auckland, to various coal and steel trains. Train 348 heading from Mount Maunganui to the large Glenbrook Steel Mill at Mission Bush near Auckland was a combination of the both. After leaving the ECMT at Hamilton, DCP 4611 and DFT 7092 (still in Tranz Rail livery) will run in Northern direction via the North Island Main Trunk Railway, until accessing the Mission Bush Branch near Pukekohe.
