b>PREFACE
"SHADHINOTA is My Cause for the 40th Celebration of BANGLADESH Independence. The land, the mighty rivers and the natural beauty makes Bangladesh a land of unparalleled splendor and magnificence. Bangladesh was liberated after a prolonged war of Independence the declaration of which was given on 26th MARCH 1971. One of the worst genocides Genocide in history took place at the behest of an autocratic regime in the name of Political stability spearheaded by the then Pakistan President Yah ya Khan. After 9 months of Liberation water and the sacrifice of 3 million lives Victory came. In addition to the loss of lives countless others were rendered homeless, the infrastructure including roads and bridges and factories lay in ruins. The people of Bangladesh have shown time and again how resilient they are. After each and every disaster, natural or man-made the people have again stood up and started all over again from scratch.
My Effort here is to pay tribute to the valiant sons of the soil and the ‘die hard’ attitude of a people who can still smile in the face of adversity however great it may be. I plan to make a collage of images that represent the lives of the people of Bangladesh. I encourage you to upload a photo each day till I have a total of 40 images for the Cause SHADHINOTA in the group Frame BANGLADESH"

Nordöstlich der 460-Seelen-Gemeinde Aspersdorf (GM Hollabrunn, HL) steht an der Kreuzung der L 51 und L1070 zwischen Aspersdorf und dem Marien-Wallfahrtsort Maria Roggendorf dieser barocke Pfeilerbildstock aus Sandstein. Er steht im Ried Brandsberg auf einem hohen quadratischen Grundsockel auf dem sich ein vierseitiger gefaster Schaftes befindet. Die Fasen werden durch getreppte runde Zungen begrenzt. Oberhalb am Würfelkapitell ist an der Vorderseite das Stiftungsjahr: ANNO 1691 - ein Pestjahr - eingraviert. Am Schaft eine typische hochbarocke Kragenplatte. Sie mehrfach getreppt mit einer s-förmigen Unterplatte. Oberhalb ist sie von den Tabernakelwänden weg dachartig abgeschrägt. Auf ihr ein quaderförmiger Volltabernakel mit seichten Rundbogenfeldern auf allen vier Seiten. Sie haben in den oberen Ecken Zwickeln. In der vorderen Nische ist ein einfaches Relief mit dem Hl.Georg, dem Drachentäter, sichtbar. In den anderen drei Nischen ist heute nichts mehr erkennbar. Am Tabernakel oberhalb ist eine deckungsgleiche, jedoch etwas breitere, Dachplatte vorhanden. Auf ihr ein hohes, konkav gewölbtes, einfaches Steinkreuz ohne jede Gravur. Auf Grund des Errichtungsjahres 1691 - das ein Pestjahr war - und seinem Standort weit ausserhalb der Ortschaft auf freiem Feld ist kein anderer Errichtungsgrund erkennbar. Auch die Nähe zum Wallfahrtsort Maria Roggendorf mit priesterlichen Einsegnung der Pesttoten lassen dies bestätigen. Der Pfeiler ist ca. 230 Jahre alt.

I did actually build this a month or so ago for a 24 hour build challenge and then added the gun today, which finally tipped the balance in favour of me posting it. C&C welcome.

La emblemática imagen salió en procesión decorada, no con orquídeas, como es tradición, sino con flores de Navidad. La celebración se realiza con motivo del Año Santo de la Misericordia, decretado por el Papa Francisco. La intención es que esta figura representativa para los caraqueños esté más cerca de los feligreses durante todo el año del Jubileo.
El Nazareno de San Pablo es una advocación de Jesucristo que se venera en la Basílica de Santa Teresa de la ciudad de Caracas (Venezuela).
Se trata de una obra escultórica del siglo XVII atribuida al escultor Felipe de Ribas, que fue tallada en Sevilla en madera de pino de Flandes, y representa a Jesucristo cargando la cruz, contemplando por tanto la séptima estaciónnota del Viacrucis. Realiza su estación de penitencia el día de Miércoles Santo en una procesión que dura entre tres y cuatro horas.
La imagen del Nazareno de San Pablo, es la de devoción de todo hijo de Caracas. Es una talla en madera de pino flandes de Sevilla, España, posiblemente de Felipe de Ribas en el siglo XVII. Dice la tradición que el escultor, después de terminar de tallar la imagen, el Nazareno se le aparece y le dice: "Donde me has visto que tan perfecto me has hecho".
Fue llevada a Caracas, recibiendo veneración primeramente en la capilla de san Pablo, y de ahí viene su nombre de Nazareno de San Pablo. Cuenta la leyenda que, en el año 1597, azotó la ciudad una epidemia de peste del vómito negro o escorbuto, y por la devoción popular hacia la imagen, fue sacada en rogativa. Durante la procesión pasó por un huerto cercano a su templo, sembrado de limoneros, y un racimo de limones quedó enredado entre la corona de espinas del nazareno, cayendo algunos al suelo. Los devotos los recogieron, dándolos como medicina a los enfermos, quienes sanaron prontamente.
La imagen fue consagrada el 4 de julio de 1674 por fray González de Acuña, y recibió culto en la capilla de san Pablo hasta que en 1880 el presidente Guzmán Blanco ordenó su derribo, levantando el mismo lugar el teatro municipal. El mismo presidente mandó erigir en honor a su esposa la Basílica de Santa Teresa, siendo trasladada la imagen a este nuevo templo, donde es venerada en la actualidad.
La Basílica de Santa Teresa es uno de los templos católicos más importantes de Caracas, centro principal de veneración a la imagen del Nazareno de San Pablo en la Semana Santa, está ubicada entre las esquinas de La Palma y Santa Teresa en el centro de la ciudad en la Parroquia Santa Teresa del Municipio Libertador.
Esta basílica está compuesta por dos iglesias de estilo neoclásico unidas entre si por una cúpula donde se sitúa bajo ella el altar mayor, la fachada oeste está dedicada a Santa Ana y la fachada este a Santa Teresa.
