Why did it have to be snakes?!? This inflatable snake is an attempt to scare off birds and other animals from nibbling the produce at a small farm.

American cockroachs (Periplanata americana), also called a waterbugs or palmettobugs are pests of buildings. They prefer warm, moist areas and feed on organic material. In buildings they are often found near steam pipes.

The trials had a lot of Stagonospora Nodorum Blotch on the leaves early in the season. This same fungus infects heads of grain causing “Glume Blotch.: Splashing rain or thunderstorms can move spores from previously infected crop residue to susceptible plant tissue. On wheat heads the lesions begin as either grayish or brownish spots on the chaff, usually on the upper third of the glume. As lesions enlarge, they become dark brown and the centers turn grayish-white in color as tiny brown or black dots (pycnidia) develop within them.

Males have a yellow clypeus (portion of their "face") and larger eyes. Males are aggressive and will mock-attack approaching organisms (especially other carpenter bees), but they do not have a stinger and therefore represent no real risk of harm.
