A fox has been sleeping under our hedge for several days now -- at the spot where the rabbit normally suns himself.

No sign of the rabbit these days.

The fox gets up every now and again to change position.

This shot was taken through a window at an oblique angle, about 70° angle of incidence.

Foundation stone 25 Oct 1867 by Governor John Stephen Hampton, designed by Richard Roach Jewell, brick laid in Flemish bond, opened 10 Apr 1870 as Wesleyan church, now Uniting, extensions designed by Talbot Hobbs 1895, steeple damaged by Meckering earthquake 1968, 30 feet replaced by copper cone. Dodd organ installed 1926.

The occasion was a display for Her Majesty the Queen's Diamond Jubilee also the celebration of Perth's newly awarded City Status. Many Pipers travelled far and wide to join this display, (1,000 Pipers) the sound of the mass pipes was truly amazing!! a dream of a day.
