A striking perspective of Mount Arbel, the iconic landmark rising above the Kinneret, known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic vistas.

I've been working on flame control. These closed links are just 3mm each in Argentium 935 silver. They originated as 18 gauge half-round wire. The accomplishment feels great. Time consuming yes. Yet I like knowing I can.

:)

This photo is a reflection in a mirror. As photographers, we try to look at things from different and new perspectives. It makes us see things differently and sometimes makes us think differently. We should be doing that with other things also. When we’re mad at someone, or they are mad at us, we should try to look at things from their perspective. Hear them out. Not be so quick to judge and say, “I’m right! You’re the one who’s wrong!” What will that solve? It generally only creates more problems.

I challenge you to do this.

Try to look at things and situations from others perspectives. It may make you think differently...

To have a perspective on one's child is a great thing.

To have a perspective on oneself is proving elusive.

365/158 - Year 12 Photo 3445

45/365

I received waterproof housing for my camera for Christmas, and I'm super thankful for it. I went to a local pool and took pictures with Paige today, and I love some of the shots we were able to get.

46/365

The protective lens on the case is plastic and my camera was acting up today, so these aren't necessarily the crispest shots, but I still love them. (And I love that they look like film pictures.)

I would appreciate if you'd like my Facebook Page :)

I'm late in doing my Round 23 Get Pushed challenge, but better late than never.

I was matched with Bomvu, whose stream is dominated by his impressive stranger projects. Those of us who are shy when approaching strangers and asking to take their picture could learn a lot from him.

Anyway, he issued me with the challenge of doing something with perspective. "Produce a picture that uses perspective, size and narrow apparture to show an image where one item appears to be the same size, or part of the image, when it is not."

I had lots of ideas of what to do, and I think that's why I am late. Should have picked one idea and just shot it. Anyway, decided to stand out in the middle of my street with my old Noddy car. After trial and error, I realised I had to have Noddy's car about waist height so I wasn't looking up at the cars behind, although it then looks like he's floating on air a bit. Anyway, here's Noddy and his friends out for a ride. And, bonus, I didn't get run over shooting it (thanks to my helpful traffic spotters wife and daughter).

The perspective is done in camera. Popped Noddy's car on a plastic container on top of a tripod in the middle of the road to get his height right.

Not sure what to name this. Doodle number "X," perhaps?

Media was traditional pencil and pen on paper. In this one I figured out how to find midpoints and centers of shapes, as well as project shadows.

Hopefully I can make time to start a legitimate piece, rather than middle-of-math-class doodles.

(that's a tv in the background :P) mom's watching ancient aliens...

from one of the cranes for the new bridge. i probably didn't feel as dominant as i look, but i could definitely see how one's ego might be inflated by looking down on the city from here without anyone's knowledge.
