El legislador del Verde Ecologista propuso reformar y adicionar a la Ley de Agua, a la Ley de Salud y a la Ley del Equilibrio Ecológico y Protección al Ambiente, todas del Estado de Sonora.
Con esta medida, dijo, se estará en posibilidad de tratar y sanear el agua residual, empleando para ello los organismos operadores que el mismo Municipio designe y que están autorizados por la normatividad vigente.

Al participar en el conversatorio "¿Quiénes invierten y quiénes reciben inversión en educación?", Roys Garzón presentó una radiografía sobre el impacto de las intervenciones sociales y explicó que de los más de 14.000 proyectos registrados en Mapa Social por parte de actores privados, públicos y cooperantes, educación participa con el 13.88%, después de infraestructura y cultura.
"Los aprendizajes brindados por la herramienta con la que podemos por ejemplo consultar, más de 2.000 proyectos ejecutados por el sector privado en temas de educación en 31 departamentos, nos ha permitido contrastarlos con las necesidades en la dimensión de educación del Índice de Pobreza Multidimensional en cada región, evitando además la duplicidad de esfuerzos en territorio redireccionando la inversión en territorios donde más se necesita", aseguró el director Roys Garzón.
Se han documentado 62 casos c onsiderados ejemplo de buenas prácticas como la Escuela Activa Urbana de la Fundación Luker, proyecto que responde a la problemática de alta deserción escolar y baja calidad de la educación pública en Manizales. Del proyecto se benefician 12 mil niños, niñas y adolescentes entre los 6 y 17 años de población vulnerable y es reconocido por sus altos niveles de calidad y por el trabajo conjunto entre las distintas organizaciones y esferas sociales involucradas.
Mapa Social es una plataforma web que contiene 400 indicadores sociales divididos en diferentes categorías (salud, educación, pobreza, servicios financieros, finanzas departamentales) que facilitan la búsqueda de cifras y permiten conocer las necesidades de la población con datos de más de 2.700 organizaciones privadas, 362 públicas, 33 mixtas, 182 cooperantes y de más de 14.600 proyectos. Se han formalizado 150 alianzas con empresas del sector privado.
Unos 200 líderes y representantes de organizaciones públicas y privadas tomaron parte de este encuentro entre ellos la Ministra de Educación y directivos de empresas como el Grupo Sura, la Fundación Empresarios por la Educación, Fundación FORD, Proantioquia, la Fundación ANDI, así como representantes del sector académico.
Finalmente, el director Roys Garzón exaltó el trabajo que se viene desarrollando con las fundaciones Ford y Empresarios por la Educación, la ANDI y otras organizaciones, a través de alianzas o actividades de capacitación para mejorar la articulación entre diferentes actores que desean contribuir a brindar mejores herramientas y condiciones en favor de la educación. / Jun. 07, 2017. We obtained the building permit and handled all inspections. We poured with 4000 PSI concrete with fiber mesh reinforcement. Karl with ABL Concrete Pumping pumped the concrete for us. We hand troweled the concrete with a double broom finish. We installed the grab bar into new grab bar cups with new escutcheons. We repaired all cracks in the existing concrete. We applied a skim coat then shot an acrylic overlay on the concrete. We applied a high quality stain and clear coat to match the existing.
Weather permitting, we’d often walk or ride our bikes along paths and onto the playa to observe the many art installations and camp activities.

The Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) held the second of three community workshops for residents and businesses to create the Ala Moana Neighborhood Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plan.
The workshop was held on Tuesday, February 19, from 6-8 p.m. in the McKinley High School Cafeteria. Mayor Kirk Caldwell and Dan Grabauskas, Executive Director and CEO of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, are expected to attend.
The City is planning a rail transit station near the Ala Moana Center on Kona Street and residents and other stakeholders will be able to comment on the appropriate scale and location of new housing, jobs, and shopping choices near the station. Workshop participants were asked to bring their thoughts on preliminary ideas for new bike lanes, improved sidewalks, gathering places, and other enhancements in the area.
DPP held the first Ala Moana TOD workshop last August and conducted a community survey of residents within a half-mile of the train station. The February workshop offered residents an opportunity to provide input on the alternatives for the area and shape the emerging elements of the Neighborhood Plan.
