This was part of the explosive minute (on the 3rd day after a storm). Its strange that a "cross" appears in the sky above the bursts of rays. This only appeared for a few seconds as it was a continually changing and dramatic sunset.

Picture taken from a boat in the Cauvery river in Rangan Thittu bird sanctuary. Covered by an arch made of tree tops, it looked very scenic. Some treatment for texture and colors done in post processing.

Summer Hawaiian sky

You never know what you will get at sunset. This was again on the 3rd day after the storm, and every 10 seconds, the sky went different, and then for a full 60 seconds, exploded as it passede between cloud banks. Oh how I wish I had the camera set to a high resolution instead of 1Mb....
