Detail of a pair of vintage procelain miniature shoes - marked 'A present from Brighton' but on the sole 'Made in Thuringia' (Germany).
I was always fascinated by my Grammy’s Clip on earrings. I would put them on and can remember how the weight of them stretched my little boy earlobes.
These tiny (less than 2" tall) salt & pepper shakers were hand painted by my husband's grandmother sometime around the turn of the 20th century.
A bolt and nut on gold coloured paper and against a colourful background, a perfect match.
The bolt and nut are together not even one inch high.
Happy Macro Monday.

Macro Mondays 1-Oct-2018 theme is 'Perfect Match" - it took me a while deciding what to do. I finally settled on these two identical little glass bottles are 1.4cm wide, 2.8cm high (+ a bit of cork height), and two of my small shells. Not my smallest by any means - these would look like giants beside my really tiny ones!

A favourite pair of hand-made earrings. Silver and brilliant-cut glass, they sparkle and twinkle as they move. I tried to light them to show their sparkle! The centre bead and surround is just 1cm. The usual size shot is in the first comment field, using a 2"x3" credit card.
Happy Macro Monday!

Antique Ted (Ant for short) was jolly pleased when Red moved in. He had been feeling very lonely sitting in his big old chair by himself. I first met Red at an antique market (very appropriate). We instantly hit it off, so she was very happy to come home with me. When she and Ant met it was love at first sight.

"Well you of course, your nut fits so well, it really suits you, and no it doesn't make your rear end look big either!"
"Your so pretty"
