Floraison - PITAYA
Hundreds of poppies appear to blow away in the wind.
By day, the red flowers radically change the perception of the space, but it is after dark that they reveal themselves to the public, making the space glow a warm red.
The multitude of illuminated flowers create an extraordinary and soothing atmosphere.
Black light projectors reveal at night the green stems of each flower to add to the feeling of suspended flowers, thereby enhancing the installation's magical appearance.
PITAYA is a creative studio founded by David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud. Having undertaken technical training, in metalworking and woodworking respectively, the pair met during their industrial design studies. They quickly abandoned their initial training for a more artistic and open vision, focused on lighting and luminaires. In 2006, the Lyon studio participated in its first lighting event and created 30 chandeliers that were installed above the streets during the Lyon Festival of Lights. Since then, PITAYA has created new lighting projects each year and displays them at urban festivals.

NYC
I better be careful or I may end up in a "Commute" series. I love how simple this is. I took it in the morning thinking of and inspired by a minimalistic series a friend of mine is doing instagram.
But I never thought I would like it enough to make it picture of the day. Everything we see is matter of perception. This picture is hyper real but I imagine it printed on metal and shiny.
It is not what you get in life is how you deal with it. For me today is a wonderful opportunity to re invent myself and make it a good day.
Wait why this optimism?
Life is good :)
Day 88/365
At the end of Monday; the days kind of blend all together, my perception of things was rather fuzzed and blurred around the edges.
The group I was with went for pizza, and we ended up at a resturant in the inside what I believe was the Metropolitan? All i know it was beside the Cosmopolitan.
One of the many shots that turned out with camera shake; i didn"t walk around with my tripod any of the days I was there :(
