After I came up with "Color From the Heart" I tried one other mix with the objective of keeping the cool color gradients but in a simplified format. I mixed "Pepper Art - 9 Frames w/Color" with "Pepper Polka Dots - This Week's Bonus Pic" and the texture from the kevlar speaker cone and that was it, at last I was done. This is what I wanted all along and no further mixing of the pepper will occur, this is it: "Pepper - The End" The images used to make this are in the first comment, enjoy and thank you, have a great Sunday.

Pepper is showing off in front of me. He came very close. Just about 1 meter or so (Squirrels-2021-3534.jpg)
As there are more visitors, comments and faves, I may have missed yours, or took a longer time to reply, my sincere apologies. But thanks everyone for your support

Pepper on this Perch is exhibiting his Passive-Aggressive side because that perch really truly belongs to Tikki. I think this may be the first time I've ever seen him up there. It is in some ways a good thing as he has lost some weight and he has the energy to get up there. (Losing weight is good, doing it this quickly is a bit troubling but his specialty vet got blood work earlier this week and it was perfect.) Oh yes, the Happy Caturday theme 17 October 2020 is 'Catphabet."
Happy Caturday theme 19 Dec 2020, "Colourful". Pepper likes to snuggle under fabric so I thought I'd let him play with last year's rainbow tie-dyed "Kittenpalooza" T from Cat Adoption Team. Pepper is Black and white but between that huge red yawn and the T shirt I think he's pretty colorful!
“Black and white is salt and pepper of colors, for life tastes bland without them.”

Saturday Self Challenge
This week's challenge then is to show two things which are different, yet largely the same. For example two forks that don't match, two different types of yellow car, maybe a pair of different coloured socks from a matching set. Collage or a single image is fine. As ever new photos please.
This was one of those ideas that in my mind seemed simple but turned out to be quite difficult to pull off. I decided after taking photos of the ground pepper and the complete peppercorns in separate containers that they would look probably look better in the same one. That was when the trouble started, trying to get them not to mix. In the end I folded a small piece of aluminium foil and placed it across the middle of the wooden bowl. I carefully filled from each side and then just before I was ready to take the pictures I carefully removed the foil barrier. I did end up with a couple of stray peppercorns getting into the ground up side, but I would have caused too much of a mess attempting to remove them. I do hope it’s suitable for the challenge.
Thank you for your visit and your comments, they are greatly appreciated.
There are three forms of this moth. The most common is white peppered with black. This is found in more rural areas. Then there is this form which is black peppered with white. The third form is virtually completely black. The blacker forms are more common in urban environments. This is believed to be due to the white form being more susceptible to predation in urban areas. Natural selection in action !
Potted Black Pepper growing in the garden. A native plant here in the state of Kerala, it is the world's most traded spice, and is one of the most common spices added to cuisines around the world. It is ubiquitous and is often paired with salt and available on dining tables in shakers or mills. The plant is actually a vine and is a common sight here and often seeing growing up the stems of large trees in the older landed properties. I have quite a few growing up a Jackfruit tree. It is also available in potted form.
When Pepper work me up thursday morning, I tried to take his photo with the iPhone in the dark but it didn't work - he turned away from the flash before the shot was taken. Since I was up a bit early already, I got up, turned on the light and "went back to bed" (still with the iPhone), allowing me to capture what I see when he starts up with the loud purrs and tickling my face with his whiskers. Those are long whiskers. They really tickle. He also doesn't know what is a weekend vs. a weekday. At least one of the good things about the shortening days after the summer solstice is, I get a few more winks of sleep as every sunrise edges a bit later. Um, this is Happy Caturday 29 August 2020, Morning Routine.
