You can't have the classic California landscape without a formidable Oak tree.

An "Oak Savanna" is where the oak trees are spaced apart from one another, due to limited ground water or previous fires.

This was my first experience using Fuji Reala, and I didn't realize how hard Reala is to come by, so it may also be one of my last experiences as well. It is nice, and I've got two rolls left I think, so I'm going to save those for landscape work like this.

From the spillway behind the flood gate on Horseshoe Lake Dam in Arizona.

This image was shot on Ilford Pan-F using my Pentax 645 N-II, an FA 45-85mm lens with a #8 yellow filter. The film was reverse processed (black and white transparency) and scanned.

I used a Rodinal process that is well documented by Jens Osbahr in his paper titled "A Black & White Reversal Process In Memory Of Agfa Scala 200X”. You can find his work online by searching the title.

Bridal Veil Falls in Yosemite, during the dry part of a drought. Shot on New Years Eve this past December/January in a Pentax 645Nii.
