This is a cell phone photo from where I am right now. just finished a roll of Neopan and working on some Reala. It's kind of ridiculous that I'm on top of a mountain with full cell service, posting on social media, sorry :)
Update now that I'm back at a computer: the camera is a Pentax 645Nii and the lens is a SMC Pentax-A* 645 1:4 300mm ED(IF). This was the first time I've used the Flickr phone app to post photos on Flickr; it worked pretty well. Sadly it will be at least a few weeks before I get to see the developed film from today
At Pinecrest Lake, near the Sonora Pass.
Shot on Velvia 50 in a Pentax 645Nii. Looking back, I think this image could have used another half-stop of exposure. I had to tweak the image in Lightroom to pull up the shadows, which is why its a little grainy at the bottom of the image.
Because I'm a masochist, I shot a concert 100% on film. I did it for the same reason people climb Mount Everest β because it's there. I've been good friends with the bassist for Cold many years and she just wanted me to come to the show. There wasn't really any expectations, so I did it as a personal project. Let's be real. I love film, but digital is the greatest thing ever for concert photography. π
