Not a great shot.... but a girl at work, after viewing last years white tree, said that the black ornaments on the tree reminded her of the bomb that Batman was trying to get rid of in the old TV series(movie) starring Adam West... since the figure at the top of the tree is from that era. I decided to make a bomb to place in his hand... the little "BAM" & "POW" charms I just happened upon last weekend. As soon as I saw them. I knew I had to use them.
This is a set of 3 birthday cards featuring a little birdie, an owl and a penquin. These would make great birthday cards for kids or any bird lover!
The cards are printed on bright white premium 65lb cardstock.
Dimensions are 5.5"x4.25" folded

さて、新年一発目のシリーズは京都水族館。年末の朝イチで行ったので比較的空いていました。
こちらはケープペンギンの若鳥。我々お客さんが見るアクリル板のすぐとなりでお昼寝してるので、ゆっくり撮らせて頂きました。

This "new" Christmas song came out in 1994, Mariah Carey - "All I Want for Christmas is You". This is the singer's official video which is a tad odd in the way videos were in the 1990's.
I guess you could say that this photo was the Genesis of Lost Tulsa. It was taken in late 2002, when the city was still dotted with colorfully decorated fiberglass penguins, in celebration of the new Tulsa Zoo exhibit. Over 10 years later, many of these penguins can still be seen around town.
In the past 10 years, while attempting to document some of our beloved city, Lost Tulsa has observed significant changes. Over the next month, I hope to share some of the differences that 10 years can make, in both positive and negative directions
We took my nephew to the Wildlife Zoo/Aquarium in Glendale, AZ. He had a blast.
(all pictures were taken with my iPhone because my camera is on the fritz... deal with it LOL)

I visited a zoo yesterday and this little fellow kept this pose for a very long time....maybe the animal world knows too about that horrible day...shots are not the best as I had to shoot thru wire,trees, leaves, people and lots of glass with wonderful childrens handprints all over it...........:).........
One of these items belongs on the mantle, and one does not! I'll let you be the judge as to which is which.
This penquin was a joint effort. I did the needlework and my friend made him into a pillow for me. I supplied the penquin, the fabric and the fiber fill and my friend added her knowledge of pillow making to put it all together. He turned out wonderful
Christmas quilt made for my son Jacob.He likes vintage trucks and black and green. I added the red and green christmas trees in fleece for the backing to make is cuddly and warm.
