Hahaha. I love this one. The idea of some G*- up guy with colorful girly tattoos amuses me. Not sure I'm satisfied with the final product, so I may have to attempt this one again later.

I paid attention to the proportion. Still not prefect, but it's better than yesterday. I used 4B pencil instead of 6B. Took me 50 min to draw.

題名は帯の結び方です。きものと帯の柄が細かすぎて中断していましたが、2010/08再開しました。

The title "Kado-tsuno-dashi" is one way of kimono belt tightening.
In English, "Kado" means a gate, "tsuno" means the animal horn, "dashi" means that it put out.
Kimono belt tightening has a lot more tightening of the tie.

the krampus is an old germanic legend... a long tongued demon who traveled with st. nicholaus to punish the naughty while st. nick gave gifts to the good... well there is a lot of naughty out there so I'm bringing the krampus back

one of the first drawings of paul weller i ever did. so early, that i hadn't even realized i was a big enough fan at that point to draw paul weller! i would have said it wasn't until the following year that i'd have done so... but look how wrong our memories can be!
(i'm actually really amused by the fact that i wrote "paul" in the style of paul mccartney's signature - which i could recreate at the time.)

A drawing of my wife while she was watching TV in our bedroom on July 11, 2007. It took me a little over an hour to complete. This is the first drawing that I create in more than a year. After more practice I think I'll be better than I am now.
