have loved tim roth for a long, long time now.

this was probably completed in 87 or 88 and i'd already been a fan for about four or five years.

man, we're both OLD. :)

Another early piece. With this series I don't want to draw out an entire photo or composition, and I want to have a balance of loose and tight rendering.

"Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst and corrupts the best. I never asked for power. Power is only given to those who are prepared to lower themselves to pick it up".

Ragnar Lothbrok - Vikings

This is the first portrait I've ever done and the first time I’ve drawn something seriously after 8 years of inactivity.

It's that time of year to get the Christmas drawings ready. Every year my nephew gets more imaginitive. Here's the start of what he wants me to draw for him this year.

The Clip Note is designed to be clipped to gifts, bags, flowers, or anything else that you can think of clipping it to. The card has a heart shaped clip section, similar to a bread tag/clip, that you use to clip to a variety of things. One of the best ways to use the card is by clipping the card to a ribbon. For example, you can clip the card to a bottle of wine by placing a nice ribbon around the neck of the bottle - it will not only add a special touch to your gift but it will also make it look beautiful. The Clip Note can be used as a gift tag and card combined.

The Clip Note is perfect when you want to write a short message as the card measures 4.1"x3.3"or 10.5x8.7cm (so they are perfect for just a quick note). These cards can be used for all occasions – birthdays, Mother’s day, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries and many more.

Illustrations are digitally reproduced from original pen drawing. This card has been printed on 400gsm paper and it has a smooth surface.

All cards are packaged in a plastic wrapper for protection. All cards are shipped in a regular envelope with a cardboard backing to help ensure that no bending or folding takes place.

The Clip Note has the Venerate logo printed on the back.

Pencil Portrait of a German Shepard. I photographed her before I did the drawing and was fortunate to capture this pose.

Looking towards Helvellyn. Visibility not great - the clouds did lift a little (but not the fierce winds).

Pete Bradfield, a local artist, at work on one of his wonderfully executed portraits, done in pencil.

Here he's working while seated in one of the store windows at Pages Books & Coffee during a revived annual Downtown celebration of the Arts, the Art Walk. After a four year hiatus, it was back with over 30 local artists and artisans participating!
