I love drawing these faces! Even though I have given my girls color augmentation therapy (oh, perish the thought) in Photoshop I really think they are marvelous drawings as rough drafts go.

This is what happens when you finish doing inventory and everybody else is still doing it. Then the computer goes down.

For this homework, which is also the assessment task, I chose a pansy because I thought it was going to be 'easy'. Nothing is 'easy'. I find drawing flowers difficult.

I now have three pots of pansies without flowers, and one pot without flowers as well as an exposed root system, which is still in the fridge. I shall plant it again tomorrow.

I probably will trace this again and use it as my final, coloured submission in week 6. This may give me some time to practise painting with watercolour.

Tons more of these to scan. Neighbor Spencer and I watched the Academy Awards together and had similar responses. The cheeriest bit was Angie's leg spoof- at least she tried to inject some humor into the parade of taste. I miss Cher something awful! More and more........

sketch on the back side of an old journal page. wasn't planned, but I like the way it turned out. I think I was looking at a j.crew catalog...
