This weekends theme "pear-shaped".

This pendent looks almost black under normal light: but it changed completely when backlit; revealing a web of fracture lines.

......Pear-Shaped.

Posted for the Me Again Monday's group weekly theme of 'Idioms".

This is, I believe a British idiom used to describe a situation that has gone wrong. There are, of course a whole host of other less savoury sayings to convey the same thing but I guess you will all have your own favourite.

There is a school of thought that suggests this one came about from air-plane pilots when trying to do a perfect circular loop-the-loop. When it didn't go so well it was said to have "gone pear-shaped". No doubt there will be others who can attribute it to something else but no matter, I'm sure you get the idea. :>)

Anyway there's me, gone all pear-shaped which is something that often happens these days but the good news is, I'm less likely to worry about it now!!! LOL

Both of these avatars are wearing the Batya shape, but could you tell at first glance?

The makeup, hair, and clothing you choose can change your avatar drastically.

The Batya shape is tall, Amazonian even (7.48ft or 2.28m with flat feet), but delicate with her small hands and juicy lips. Her body sports a lovely pear-shape around the hips and a small, perky bust.

I enjoy dressing her up in crop tops and shorts or skirts, but she also looks darling in gowns with the way her hips encourage the bell-shaped flow.

She is perfect for anyone seeking a delicate and feminine woman avatar with a touch of versatility.

I know the photo is lousy. Here is the fun part: my gauges were too small to use to measure anything but the depth on this blue topaz. I had to use a machinist's metal micro-ruler gauge thing that I got from an auto manufacturer to get the length and width measurements. With those measurements I was able to estimate the weight - about 140 ct.

Very creepy and eerie but mysterious...The way this droplet hangs..a perfect pear shape..it was attached to the smallest twig..up underneath a massive Pine tree..It hung there so small in comparison but was so visible because of the great light it gave off..I even like the off center focus of it..and that bokeh..so delicious..and really very achievable on a dark rainy day..
