Found some little figurine collections of my sister and I thought of making them my subjects. Shot in my Mom's veranda, with the bougainvillea leaves on the background that gave it great bokeh.

Spectacular Peace Bridge across Bow River in city of Calgary specially made for the pedestrians and cyclists. This bridge designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The original colors of the bridge are red and white. I converted this shot into Black and White.
Nothing thrilling - except Mack isn't wearing an e-collar, both are sleeping on their heated mats with snacks within arms reach, both are healthy and both are right where I can see them as I work at my desk. This is what peace looks like at home.

Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), South Korea. The Peace Bell was built in 2000 to pray for peace of the human race and national unification in celebration of the new millennium. Symbolizing the 21st century, it was built with 21 stairs and the bell weighs 21 tonnes.

My heart belongs in nature, especially when it involves forests, mountains, and bodies of water. A lot of modern life makes me anxious & overwhelmed, particularly when there’s a lot of stimulation- noise, people, movement, bright lights. The natural world rarely makes me feel this way. A simple, quiet life filled with nature is what gives me peace.
Peace On Earth is an abstract photo of a dandelion. It is one of seven version. I like this one for its simplicity.
In the minds of mad men
Echoes the darkness of wars,

And from the shade of our limitations,
we will scream into the void, peace and freedom, then close our eyes and pray, his,
is not the hand that stops the ticking clock.

Who ever gets tired of watching the day come to a close when it looks like this.
