I saw a flock of Cockatoos on the way to the Botanical Gardens.
They were hunting for bulbs on the lawn next to the side of the road.
I sat and watch them for a while and this one came quite close to me. It then picked up a daisy flower and I clicked when it is looking at me.
Many thanks for your visit, comments, invites and faves...it is always appreciated.

The Nancy Brown Peace Carillon Tower has an interesting history.
The 98-foot (30m) tower on Belle Isle was constructed in 1939. Nancy Brown (a pen name of Annie Louise Brown) was an advice column writer for The Detroit News. She had a large following, and she held Sunday services on Belle Isle. The tower was funded by small donations, mainly from Nancy's fans and friends. An estimated 50,000 people attended the dedication of the tower in 1940.
Bells were never installed in the tower, but a sound system played patriotic and inspirational songs, and chimes sounded on the hour. New chimes were installed in 2003.
Belle Isle, an island in the Detroit River, is currently a Michigan State Park. The water shown in the picture is a part of a canal system on the island.

A few weeks ago, I visited one of my favourite spots, Cedar Creek! It was a beautiful evening to just sit near the creek and take in the subdued sunset. The remnants of the previous season were still evident, adding to the golden tones of the fading light. It was a beautiful moment of peace and calm during troubling times.

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind on my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combined to create a sense of peace and calmness.

Penso proprio di no.
It's difficult to imagine that while I'm out taking photographs, processing and posting my images, that others in our world are so fearful for their own and their families futures
No words can help but I pray this situation is ended soon
