Penn Central E8 4327 southeast of Crown Point, Indiana on an unknown day in June 1982, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 4327 was built in August 1953 as NYC E8 4084 ( c/n 18542 ) on EMD Order 2055. It became PC 4084 and was renumbered to 4327, then NJTR 4327, then NJTR 4251, then TCRX 6902. Up front doing all the work are CR GP9's 7392 and 7391. I believe the 4327 was dead in tow. These rails have since been removed.

Schooldays tend to find a decker on PC Coaches' infrequent Lincoln to Newark 47. This is often one of the company's two hybrid E400s, however today produced former Reading Buses, Midland Classic, and Newbury & District Olympus YN08HYP. The vehicle, which is one of at least a dozen Scania deckers in the fleet, is seen here in the vicinity of Barnby Manor with the 08:50 from Lincoln.

An electrical switch panel at Lynnewood Hall in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. With 110 rooms, 55 bedrooms, and 100,000 square feet, Lynnewood Hall is the second largest Gilded Age mansion left in the U.S. and a magnificent example of architecture by Architect Horace Trumbauer. For the fascinating history of the home known as the "American Versailles", see the Lynnewood Hall Preservation Foundation's website at LynnewoodHallPreservation.org/history, where you can become a Patreon supporter and help the restoration efforts.

PC (although he may well have a different title!) Jones is a police officer for the Leicester Constabulary.
Up until now, I had steered clear of taking the portrait of a police officer, as I hadn't found someone with the character that I was after.
I was out in the city with the aim of taking a few portraits, when I saw PC Jones walking towards me. I had the idea of how I wanted the shot, and so I approached him to ask if he would be happy for me to take his portrait.
I was keen to have a shot with his eyes just peering under the rim of his hat, and to have him central in the frame to really add more impact.
PC Jones was great, being patient while I was messing with my settings, and checking that I was happy with the shot.
He told me that he been working for Leicestershire constabulary for 18 years, and that his previous patch had been over to the west of the city, in an area that my job covered. We talked shop for a while, and then I left to let him get back to his job.
Thanks so much for being such a willing model, and I hope that you like the portrait.
Woohoo! I've done it! It is not very MAD hatter, I was though, very very mad and stressed, but wonderful Fran assured me that she will be there until I finish it. Thank you, Fran!!!!! Thank you PC, I have learnt so much. It was fantastic!

PC Coaches of Lincoln currently have yet another demonstrator on loan - the third so far this year. In February, it was an Enviro200; in June, an Enviro300/Scania K230. This time, it's an Enviro400, with Trident2 chassis. I'm unsure on the exact date it arrived, but I'm pretty sure that Saturday was its first day in service.
Whilst working the 1040 service 47 from Newark to Lincoln, SN61DFK is seen here on Stone Moor Road on the Mill Moor Estate, North Hykeham - a location only served by Lincoln-bound vehicles twice a day. The reason for the stop here was that the vehicle had thrown its toys out the pram when the ramp was used - but all was soon sorted and the vehicle was on the move again shortly. A very nice journey indeed - and the driver was excellent too.
