White Sands National Monument is in the northern Chihuahuan Desert in the U.S. state of New Mexico. It's known for its dramatic landscape of rare white gypsum sand dunes. Trails through the dunes include the raised Interdune Boardwalk and the Dune Life Nature Trail, dotted with interpretive exhibits on wildlife and other features. Dunes Drive is a looped road from the White Sands Visitor Center to the dune field.
Not thrilling, but wanted to document it anyway. Just trying to cover up some studs, and then some arrows appeared...
Not the greatest fold, but I designed it and do not have the paper to make a bigger one at the moment.

Here is the first of a series of patterns that I am currently working on. Birds! Every body loves birds. They just go about their business. Sing a bit. Drop the odd feather. Although they do a poo on my car quite a lot, and they have been known to steal my chips..
Also thought I would add to this post the all new Beaches Peaches pattern. What do you think?
diagram of soft waves pattern, over 27 stitches ((12 x 2) + 3) = 2 repeats. Each chain is an oval, each stitch is a line with an oval on top, a decrease is a downward v (over 2 stitches with one oval on top) an increase is an upward v with 2 ovals on top.
This shows the initial chain
first row (bottom)
second row (top)
repeat the 2nd row until you are done.
