I once studied these fence elements for a small period of time, and found out they have many different compatibilities. For one, on the sides of each they can attach 2 studs (how I made this pattern), and you can actually fit pole pieces inside of each (see here). Since I used this amount of fence pieces it's slightly fragile, but I could easily reduce the quantity of those elements I used.

Another free pattern! You can see it blogged at and also get it at sewcharitable.blogspot.com/2010/02/whale-vignette-embroid...

The reverse of the pattern is there as well.

You can see it stitched up there as well. I hand draw all my patterns (kicking it old school!) so the lines are not as perfect as those that create with computers.

Enjoy!

Two palm fronds on an orange wall along the roadway between Playa la Ropa and Centro Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico. The morning sun highlighted them both without any shadow. It looked like the fronds were painted on the wall but were about a foot in front.

Thanks to Kellie (74LimeLane) I realized that I had patterns right here around the house! This plate alone has 3 different patterns on it. I figured one of them had to be photogenic.

A red-butt black chironomid pupa pattern is a staple pattern in a lake fly fisher's arsenal.

It is interesting how you can find patterns in most of the everyday objects, in this case I found a pattern on my curtain. It is possible to see a linear pattern made by each part of the curtain. The sunset on the back creates shadows that helps to identify each element. The repetition of these similar elements creates a rhythm and unify the curtain as being one object.

Use of the in-camera impressive art filter which brings out these tracks cut through the forest etched onto the fellside.
